I think you down Lorelai's feelings in this season perfectly! While I do think a part of her loved Chris in the earlier seasons, looking at her face in the Season 7 clips compared to other clips where she's with Luke reveals her true feelings. Great job!

Lorelai is complicated, I think we will bust our heads if we try to analise her, luke is better for her than Chris as they are Ying and Yang but chris and lor were super cute together, and if they had the ablity to be more solid, it may have worked but both of them have too much baggage.

Chris is SO not always there for her-actually it's the opposite! Chris is always saying he'll be there for her and then he bails and runs away. Sure, he keeps coming back, but he never sticks around. He did it SO many times throughout the series, then even once they were married he ran away at the first hint of trouble. If he really, really loved her he would've trusted her more.

I don't agree not one bit. Luke did NOT stick around. He was all in, then dumps her, can't handle a kid and lorelai. U gotta know drama silly, chris had reasons luke did not. It wasn't the first hint of trouble. Lorelai probably should have told him about the letter, chris should have told her about the fight, luke needs to butt out. Luke stays mad way more then chris who had every right.

yes, they marry and divorce, she goes back to luke. Big mistake on here or the writers part. I so agree. Chris loves lorelai and understands her better then luke. And he's always there for her. They fought better then luke and lorelai did. Luke is so wrong for her.
