Well the train is not going at 100 MPH but its obviously very fast but this is not unusual for a long journey train to pass thru a small station at this speed. The "guy" who crossed it the last is actually a girl most likely following her husband who didnt look back to see if she made it safe.

Well. Yes it was stupid for them to cross the tracks with a train coming-- but its just like trying to run across the road with a car coming out you. If its going fast, its far away, but then a split second later its right there beside you. I think they didn't realize how fast the train was going.
i had an experience somewhat like this one - our train had stopped in the middle of nowhere and a few of us stepped out for a smoke. Parallel to us was the adjacent track and we saw this train way in the distance! and - before we knew it - it was right in front of us. must be some sort of illusion of sorts (in terms of how quickly its coming your way). fucking scary mate..lol

Well. Yes it was stupid for them to cross the tracks with a train coming-- but its just like trying to run across the road with a car coming out you. If its going fast, its far away, but then a split second later its right there beside you. I think they didn't realize how fast the train was going.

i had an experience somewhat like this one - our train had stopped in the middle of nowhere and a few of us stepped out for a smoke. Parallel to us was the adjacent track and we saw this train way in the distance! and - before we knew it - it was right in front of us. must be some sort of illusion of sorts (in terms of how quickly its coming your way). fucking scary mate..lol
