In short: allthough it sounds impressive, the "required study" to do so isn't. Not compared to "fur elise". And dont get me wrong, I like this act, but overhyping mouth- and-sound effects is verse 2. Cool, entertaining, but not impresive, only overwhelming.

Cool act, cool sound, nevertheless, he is not Mozart, nor a violist with an 8 year instrument study. Beatboxing is open to everyone, so to a wide varience of public, the difference in quality is shown in the control of "effects". They may sound amazing at first "sight", but only because of the fact we are not common with it. Study beatboxing for 1 whole day and be surprised what you can do. However, you can never beat a violist or pianist in respect of "quality of performance".

I partially agree with you :) But beatboxing isnt something that is for everybody. Dont forget in order to play violin you get help. In the form of classes, notereading ectra. With beatboxing you dont have anyof that. Its the pure ceative mind and the human thats been USED as INSTRUMENT. That makes it what it is. Dont get me wrong, i want to see you learn "some skills" in beatboxing that you can get true one day.

You would be the first..i can promise you that. It takes time and control..

and above all, as with every ARTFORM allot of effort and practice to get the desired sound. Rahzel is a root beatboxer. Way over the top known in the beatboxing scene. Dont get me wrong fellow beaters in here and elsewere KNOW that what he does is allready been surpassed many times by beaters that are way more creative then he is.

Beardyman for instance uses kaospads, and distortion effects to get a solid beat that you cannot seperate from a drummachine. Thats not a cheapass trick doing that
