My dad has this exact car with 71k miles on it, same year and color, only exception being that his has the H/K stereo that was an $1,800 option when new. ALL of these cars need updated timing chains, tensioners, guide rails, and water pumps, and also MAF sensors. Otherwise they are mechanically sound. The attention to detail is excellent overall, even for a first year model, but the let-downs include flimsy sun visors and defrost vents that warp and buzz against the windshield. Great video!

Just a little nitpicking here, but there hasn't been any real glass on car headlights since the '70s. All plastic, that's where we got all the issues with the yellowing.

@jpchryslered uhh the headlamps are glass. Just like Saab's had glass head lamps up until the early 2000's, Mercedes to the mid-90's. That's why they were able to have those little wipers on them. If the head lamps were plastic on this car they would be yellow already.

Sweet Jag! It looks like it would be a comfortable and convenient daily driver although Jags are notorious for electrical problems :( Its still nice looking though, and whoever had it took great care of it and had to have garaged it for it to be in this great of condition, which is awesome. When someone pays $64K for a car, they won't screw around...unless they're some spoiled teenage brats with rich parents or gold diggers with rich husbands!

I like this car. That design was quite a departure from the typical Jaguar of that era. It was ahead of it's time then and it still holds up well 14 years later, I think. That car looked to be very well taken care of over it's 14 years on the road, as well.
