  • So glad someone has the ability to post these.....you could almost forget what true worship was like....sure not gonna find it in the churches today.

  • @sherrymar You're right about that! True Spirit-Filled singing and worship is a rare thing in our day. I don't know about you, but I want it back!

  • God has not changed nor will He. I too attend The Church of God and we had a service like this this past Sunday-October 9,2011. God wants to pour out His spirit, but do we want Him to?Are we keeping our lives clean?Worship Him today. Hunger for His presence in your life. Pray and fast. Then watch God move!! If you have attended or do attend a church that "hides" this type of worship or is ashamed of it, my advice to you is GET OUT! If you are ashamed of Jesus,he will be ashamed of you.

  • I love this!! It makes me happy and blessed to be part of a wonderful denomination as the Church of God! I'm gonna have to sing this up at our Church of God! The kind that still seeks True Holiness!!!

  • I wished I had more. I think the COG and its leaders have tried to bury this stuff in the past. They don't want people to know this is how it use to be. It might cause someone to get under conviction, or ask the question, WHAT HAPPENED?

  • I know this has got to be at the GLORY HILL in Alabama.... Please post more.... This was way be for my time in the church of God. The church had gotten away from this style of worship. I would love to see more of the old church of God. If you have any please post. thank God for old time HOLINESS.

  • @JohnJonathonJon

I attend a Church of God in Greensboro, NC and this happens there still. Come and visit!

  • What a wonderful time! I was little back in the 80's but I remember the Jericho marches and all. God is good!

  • @tawadw03 Maybe you ought to start one Sunday Morning! Just get out in the ilse and let the Lord have his way!

  • Oh my, Glory to Almighty God!! I can feel the presence of God as I watched this video. What a tremendous Blessing!!

  • to holinesspentecostal ,I am enjoying this clip and His Name Lives On. I am very glad that these are here . Thank you for posting it. When I realized that I could go to youtube and see this type of music I rejoiced and was very glad.

  • @MrREM6363 I'm glad it was a blessing to you!

  • Someone please post where Perry Stone is at giving time on video. Thank you!!!!

  • @Ricadd3 Look for him starting at 5:43. He's in a light blue suit standing in the ilse. You also see him at 6:02, 7:36-7:45, and a glimps at 8:30.

  • I'm 30 years old and just planted a COG in Pigeon Forge, TN. We sing these songs and have church just like this 3x a week! I love that Holy Ghost Fire!!!

  • The singers are my mom and dad, Rev & Mrs. John C Franklin and the other lady is Glendene Stamps. My parents were pastoring the Anniston Church of God when this was done. Thanks for whoever found this. I had no idea until tonight that it existed. We were just talking to someone recently saying that Camp Meeing hasn't been the same since they moved it from "Glory Hill". BIG MISTAKE!

  • @mfstewart51 What a privilege it is to meet you! These songs have blessed me and many many others over and over again. Out of all the singing I saw from the campmeeting that year, your precious parents were head and shoulders above all the rest! As Bro. Ray Hughes use to preach so powerfully, "The Anointing Makes The Difference"! There are very few campmeetings that are anywhere near the caliber they were 30 years ago!

  • I believe i see a young perry stone here also.

  • @ChadSFickett I believe you are right!

  • The wonderful thing about having Ray H. Hughes preaching a campmeeting was that you KNEW that no matter who wonderful the singing and worship was, it was only going to get better when he got up, such was the touch of God on his life.

  • The minister here, Dr. Ray Hughes, recently passed away. Does anyone know where this is or who it is singing? Also, I would like to get the lyrics to this song, I can't make out all the words from the video.

  • After a little more Googling, I found out that the title of the this song is actually "Robe and Crown", also, there is a version on YouTube by a bluegrass group from the '80s named Quicksilver (not Doyle Lawson, however) where the words are a little easier to make out. Thanks for this upload, I have watched it multiple times and love it!

  • @tbssogo I'm glad you found the real title to this song. I really had no idea and just guessed what it might have been. I also had a hard time understanding the words. The original video did not have the greatest sound quality.

  • Wonderfful Brother! Thanks for posting these good songs of worship and praise.

  • @FredAltonBrannen I wish COG Campmeetings were still like this! These were powerful times in the church! Oh God, Do it again!!!

  • AWESOME!GOD IS AWESOME!
