How do you bring up the overall RMS level without compression/limiting? Say, on a dance track who's levels are around -7.5dB RMS to -7dB RMS. Thank you!
@BenBrowne82 I'm assuming you have a mixer. On your mixer, bring up the gain to no more than +4 dB. (Watch out for peaks! You may have to settle for +2-3 dB for safety. Then turn off your gain detector and use your fader to set the output level to +4 dB at peak. Simple. Reply if you don't get it.
