I wonder how this reacts in the body. I've been using food grade H202 for a while. I drink a tiny sip of it in the morning. I can't wait to use it when I get up now, otherwise I feel like I'm swallowing all kinds of bad germs.

h202 is toxic to most organisms but luckily we have an enzyme called catalase that breaks h202 down into H and O that is what foams.

Awesome. It should never, ever be used in a wound because it kills cells and prevents healing (soap and water, much) but it can be useful in the ears once a month and occasionally in the belly button. I can't believe this stuff is known to treat wounds! Ouch.

Hydrogen peroxide gets rid of anaerobic bacteria in the wound due to the decomposition reaction of H2O2. Blood is simply the catalyst and when O2 is released from the reaction the bacteria is completely gone.

h-peroxide from drug stores and etc. are safe to use because it's only 3%. Now anything other tan that wouldn't be a good idea to put on a wound.

I didn't realise this thread was still even going but having received another maddening reply telling me how insane I was using a 3% solution of Hydrogen Peroxide in a measure of Water, and after all this time I'm NOT DEAD but feeling very much clearer in breath and in skin tone as an unexpected aside, I find I need to repeat my post. Actually this is a very misleading video. This is not H2O2 and blood. This is H2O2, blood and air.

The reality is that the H2O2 and water solution goes into the stomach. There it separates into H20 (water) which is released thru normal channels (sweat, urine, etc) and O (oxygen). The oxygen reverts to its gaseous state (7th grade chemistry) and is absorbed into the bloodstream.

There it joins the oxygen that was just picked up from the lungs and makes the 20-min trip around your body.

This video is to mislead. Taking a 3 or 4 drops of FOOD Grade H2O2 diluted in a full water of spring water is a healthy thing to do. In this video you are immersing a very small amount of blood in a large quantity of H2O2. What's that demonstrate? Nothing, other than don't try to drink a 55 gallon drum of pure H2O2.

It isn't strictly blood, but rather a component of the blood, an enzyme called catalase. It is contained in cells as well. Ordinary 3% hydrogen peroxide is not toxic. Aot of people use it for mouthwash. You can drink it, but it brings on vomiting. When our dog ate some Christmas chocolate, the vet said to give hydrogen peroxide. Must not taste bad, he drank it.

Oxygen can be harmful, I know that, but it is also very necessary for life, and a benefit of exercise is oxygen in your body.

You need to apply a vein tourniquet(a rubber stripe you tie around the arm in order to increase blood pressure and thats making the veins more prominent), then sterilize the area, then puncture the most prominent vein-but very gently because you might go throught he othe side of the vein and you won't be able to draw blood.
