Repitition, repitition, repitition.. . . . . . It takes work, but it is simple.

Good for you. I truley believe that all of humanitys immense problems can be cured thru the power of the prayer techniques that Dr.Murphy teaches in his book, "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind". I really suggest that you read the book itself. Personally I found the book more helpful because thier are such specific passages that speak directly to the reader, & it's so easy to go back to refresh on certain pionts that pertain to you.

I was in NY Magazine, earned $110,500 (after imagining $110,000), helped my sister get engaged in 3 weeks, nephew became a straight a student, etc. I could go on & on but you have the tool!! It's the book. Read it...it works 100% of the time. No one can help you apply it...except you. BTW, the woman who won the $112 million lottery used THIS book to win it. @mmsun44 Funny you should say that, I love Emmet Fox also, I've read 'Sermon On The Mount' several dozen times. And yes, Dr Murphy & Fox have very, very, similar philosophies.

@Colstonewall . Sermon on the Mount was the first book of it's kind a ever read. Since then I've read everything by him plus anything else I can get my hands on. Neville Goddard is another excellent writer from this New Thought movement, I actually enjoyed him more than Murphy yet loved them both.

I met Dr. Murphy while I was living in LA. I spoke with him about an issue and he invited me to his home. We sat in his small, book-cluttered office and talked for well over an hour and, as I was leaving, he wrote an affirmation for me in his own hand ... and affirmation that was to change my life. Although his books were simplistic, his message was extremely powerful. I urge all who have not yet availed themselves of his teaching to do so.

To descirbe it more. I wanted things now and whenever it did not manifest I felt like I was doing something wrong, and tried harder and harder to stay positive. But only bad things would happened and I didn't understand why. Then it came to me. While I was reading the book I felt very inspired, motivated, and exited about my new knowledge. However when I did not read it slipped away slowly and I became my normal self again.. I just don't understand how it works.

I've read a book once that had a similar formula as 'The law of Inverse'. The book was called 'The Secret' and this law was labeled as The Law of Attraction and besically indicated that whatever you think about will come to you wherther you like it or not. If you have a negitve mindstate negetive things will happened, if it's positive then your life will be positive. I use to believe in the power but it soon faded away before i was able to manifest anything. Please comment or pm me.

Everytime a negative popped into my mind i remembered my idea, wich opposited my mood. This is true. Very insightful. If it doesn't happen right away, the key is in sustaining the feeling. Don't let time or current outward manifestations dictate (if it's what you don't want) redirect your energies to what you do want (manage doubt- doubt warps alignment). If you lose the vision, it's probably not what you wanted. If you can sustain the feeling however, it will come into alignment with your reality through unforseen opportunities, synchronicity, etc. This is good stuff...
