This song reminds me of the impending time that I will have to leave my parents and head off to college. The first day I'm there, and I'm all alone, I want to listen to this. It has an extremely somber feel to it, but it also has a hopeful feel to it as well. A tone to it that says "Hey dude, it'll be ok". I imagine myself standing around with my hands in my pockets, staring at my feet, but then suddenly realizing that my life is just beginning, and that I can now control everything in my life.

Damn... I've played P4 twice, and in both times this whole part made me cry so much...

This scene is very subtle... but the feeling of loneliness and emptiness is probably one of the most painful things in the game. You learn to love Nanako, her cheerful greetings, and then... one day, she's just not there anymore. Ç_Ç

The game seems to get better, and more powerful, emotionally, as it progresses. Not only the story, but the social links as well. Links like Yoskue's seem somewhat shallow when compared to some of the ones you can open later, such as Naoto and Saki's brother whose name I can't remember. The game really gets you attached to the characters. Nanako almost feels like a little sister. Her in the hospital, the December event, and even her not being home to greet you, really touches you emotionally.
