@CnRDirt i put these on my 07 wrangler a year ago. when i bought them i never gave the "directional tread" a thought. so far they've been wearing evenly. i've put about 20,000 miles on them and the lugs are still in great shape. they look like they can go another 20,000 plus. in 2 feet of snow i was able to keep it in 2wd. i'm happy with 'em and i'll more than likely buy another set when the time comes. there is a bit of road noise and a rumble at low speeds.
I have a 2010 f-150 xl v8 2wd and I want to change the tires as soon as the stock ones go I was looking at bfg's but I may get this! How much would it cost to get them for I believe 18in rims the stock ones
@PIZMORIDERS Hi, that tire has been discontinued. It has been removed from the Mickey Thompson site as well. The part number is 5255, they might be able to run a search for ‘Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTZ 5255’ to try and find the tire.
i want to put the 35in. baja claw radials on my truck, but im not sure if they will fit without a bigger lift....i have an 87 ford with a 3in. suspension lift....would they fit under there without rubbing?
@ttyylleerrpp44665577 Hi, to fully answer your question we need to know the following: What lift is it, what size of rims do you have, is the truck a 2 or 4 wheel drive, what size of a tire are you running now, and do you have a tire size in mind that you are looking to run?
I had a set of these on my ranger. The only thing i didnt like about them, is they were loud as hell on the hyway and were a little rough when stopping.
@fatmonkey00 Well the tire size is what is going to matter more than the wheel size when it comes to rubbing. Is your truck stock height? Lifted? I can suggest the correct size tires once I have more info on your vehicle.
@fatmonkey00 To be safe you probably want to run a tire no larger than 30 inches in diameter. Generally turning the torsion keys will give you about 1.5 – 2 inches of lift which is not quite enough to accommodate 31’s.
@fatmonkey00 nahh you can stuff some 33s under that chevy and itll rub a little bit but who cares, they will look badass and perform even better than 31s
I want to purchase 31x10.50 r15 GoodYear Duratac's or 31x10.50 r15 GoodYear Wrangler Territory's. What is more heavier tire? Are these quiet on the highway? Are they a good eveyday tire? How do they last compared to a normal SUV tire.
These are for a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport with a 4.5 lift, im looking to get 31x10.50 r15's.
@elitecssplayer The Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac is an excellent all-around tire for your Jeep Cherokee. They will be quieter on the highway than a traditional mud terrain tire. We do not carry the Goodyear Wrangler Territory, this tire looks like another version of the Duratracs.
im just wondering, i do quite a bit of highway driving also and im debating on 305/70/16's for these baja claws or nitto mud grapplers, which would you say is better...
@mikesimon31 I would go with the baja claw radial if you do a lot of highway driving. The mudgrappler will not last long on the highway compared to the others.
baja claws are the best tires out there ive bought them 3 times and they never let me down even in the deepest of mudpits, i pay 1300 for these tires everytime and its completely worth it dont be fooled by the popular mud grapplers cause im always the guy pulling them out when they get caked down with mud
baja claws are useless unless you like the sand. thats what these tires were actually designed for, and thats directly from mickey T second ive seen plenty of poor guys run these and the jam full of mud and grab for shit, for the same price you can go with a tire from interco or as most know them as super swamper, i run boggers rear and tsl's front at 39.5s save your money buy a real tire, they even suck on trail rigs but mostly suck on mud trucks
Awesome tire! But I would never order from 4wheelparts again. They had the nerve to make me pay the shipping a second time around for an order they admitted on screwing up. And shipping to Alasks is not cheap. Nothing but problems from these guys.
@MrINVADER727 Yes, we have 3 actually. There's one in Colorado Springs, one in Denver, and one in Westminster. You can find the addresses and directions on the store locator page of our website.
@6SLICK6MANE6 it depends on how wide the tire is going to be. Generally, you might be able to go 35" with a 3in body lift, and if you didn't go any body lift at all. 33" with an 18" rim will look good, especially if you top it off with a leveling kit on your truck.
I had these on a 89 gmc truck I beleave they where 33" the truck had a 5" lift couldn't get the truck stuck!!! Even in over 2 1/2 feet of snow it would clime over snow plow piles but gas milege was horrable about 50 bucks a day great tire tho bf goodrich A/T are good to
Wow those tires have some MEAT on them!!. Make my BFG KM2s look puny. I like the tread design on the Baja claws very aggressive. How do the perform in the snow and ice?
@lillwoos2 It really depends on how you drive your vehicle. These tires wear reasonably well when taken care of, but they are an aggressive tire and won't last as long as an all terrain.
I HAD 38" CLAWS ON MY 87 S10 V8 POWERED 5 SPEED 4WD AND IT WAS AS TOUGH AS A BRICK WALL THOSE THINGS NEVER GOT ME STUCK I HAD BOGGERS N DC N NITTO'S BUT ONCE I GOT THOSE CLAWS MAN IT WAS BULLETPROOF JUST WISH I HAD ENOUGH ASS IN THE BACK TO SMOKE 'EM ( SORRY CHEVY, I BLEW Y'ALLS 350 LOL)

Hey guys I got a question. It's about the kumho kl71 mud tires. I know u guys don't have them on ur website. But if u know anything about them i would appreciate the help. I would like to know how loud they are on the highway. Are they comparable to a mud grappler or what other tire are they comparable to in highway noise?? Thanks
I have a blazer on 46" Baja Claws and i love em.
