The easiest way to fix blackra1n is to move the blackra1n.exe to this folder:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

Just make a shortcut to it on your Desktop or wherever you want and it's done...

guys when you clik make it ra1n at the end of the video ,reboot your ipod touch by holding the power button ( top) and the home button ( bottom)until the ipod shuts off , then shuts on again .... ( until the apple logo comes on ) then let go .... wait abit ( 10 secs or more ) then it should work , it worked for me :D:D

You can't. It's called a tethered jailbreak. So far, there is no untethered jailbreak for 3rd gen.

Also a quick tip for you, another way of right clicking is a key that is 2 keys ever from the LEFT arrow button, right below the shift key, no words on it, it just has a mouse on it with a little list there. Yes that will delete cydia as well, because its not an app allowed by apple and all apps not allowed by apple require an unlocking (jailbraking) firmware/software on it.

yea man, you do it first time and it shows u the man and watever, and restore pic comes (apple USB to itunes Icon) you then have to do it a second time, so you make sure blackra1n is closed, click on the blackra1n icon again, click "make it rain" and then it should take you back to your home page and you can start the fun.

Check your code on the bottom of the box, if it starts with MC, that's your problem.
