From here to the infirmary, or good mourning for the best album, but the "alkaline trio" recompilation has by far the best songs, goodbye forever, bleeder, cooking whine, nose over tails, san fransisco, for your lungs only... awesome.

Good Mourning is their worst. From Here to Infirmary and Maybe I'll Catch Fire are tops.

Good Mourning has some of their best lyrics and song writing. I'll say Maybe I'll Catch Fire is my favorite, but Good Mourning is nothing close to their worst. They have no clever lyrics in Agony and Irony, it's too straightforward and blah. And let's face it, if you like old Alkaline Trio, you like it for the lyrics.

I loved Agony and Irony. I think it is one of their best albums, but they're all incredible in their own ways.

I think it is only a disappointment if you listen to it expecting it to be like their old stuff. If you listen to it with an open mind, it is pretty awesome. I wasn't a big fan of it at first either.

BUt at first i was in denial that the album wasnt too good, so I actually (in a way) liked it at first, but over time accepted that the album dint sound too great to me

they're definitely like a full step down, at least, but thats cool with me, they've been on tour for a while, they're bound to be tired, vocally at least. i love when derek is on a guitar, he kinda just does whatever he feels like, and its cool having all three of them singing.
