Being such a fan of Lost Lander, my hope is they find a new director, someone young and full of vision instead of a director who takes the easiest way out when faced with what can only be described as a super low budget production. Anything shot in one evening with an iPhone can only be described as "last minute."

I wish the music had a chance to live outside of this mess - i look forward to hearing the song without all the annoying and stolen images

There is no message to be gleaned from a collection of commercials and movies cut together in a super hyper way.

I mean what is the point really? It's not like anyone involved with this video did any real thinking. If they did we would have seen something beautiful instead of just white noise.

In the end this video is a sad attempt at what we've seen before - Billy Joel "we didn't start the fire" ring any bells?

@oregonducks2014 First of all, do you not see how the images are set quite well to the time of the music? Watch the axe hit the computer a little past 3:20. That sort of thing happens throughout the entire video, that's just the best example of it. You have to pay attention. Think about how the images correspond to what is happening in the song itself. There is a clear interaction between the music and the images, and the images are reacting to one another as well.

My name is Ken and I am from Eugene and a huge Lost Lander fan, but I am having a difficult time trying to understand how this video is "a commentary on media overstimulation" -- when in fact all it is is overstimulation.

A "commentary" on anything social should have a counterpoint or a solution for the issue. We see none of this in this Video directed by Johnny Ross. It is all just a sloppy, undisciplined mess.

@oregonducks2014 A commentary can be effective it it simply causes the audience to consider what it has to say and to draw their own conclusions. It doesn't need to solve the problem it points out. And to say that this is undisciplined is just flat out wrong. Even if you feel there is no meaning--that's up to you to decide--you cannot even make a sensible argument that these clips are not put together with intentionality.

Your last comment is different from the others. It's completely fair to be disappointed in the video, but you have to credit the video for what it is even if you don't like it. I commented before, but this is one of those songs that sticks with you. I have found myself wanting to experience the emotions it made me feel again and again. There really is just too much out there, it is so overwhelming, I definitely have lost my mind and would love to blame it on the information saturation. Although, I know I am just crazy anyways.
