@SuperJooooooooooey -I think that is a great idea. Try silver body and a red, yellow, red wing. The Mickey Marabou. It works very well.

Dear Alan,

Thanks for the comment. I do think the colors would be great for Pike. I would choose some different materials so I could make the fly longer. Things like using the marabou as a collar with the peacock herl being over white ostrich herl. I would also add more flash to the wing.

Thanks Steve. I have never tied tandems I guess because I have never trolled on the lakes. I do tie stinger flies for Steelhead. The rainbows will be running pretty soon and ice out is just around the corner. I think I will keep the fire going for a while.
