Where do the dwarves come into play? I'm sorry if the answer is obvious, but I haven't read the Silmarillion yet. So far, only the elves and men have been mentioned as the inhabitance of the world but what about the dwarves?
First of all, thank you tolkien fan for sharing this. Secondly, I highly recommend reading The Silmarillion as you hear these words. I have been doing so and it is Glorious. A great friend gave me a CD set of this audio long ago. I thank you Paulina. I am FrodoTook of TORC.
I have say that after listening to this for years that it is the perfect music. It is a dramatic tale and what music can one make to accompany this great book!
The Silmarillion is one of the most marvelous Books I've ever read, together with The Lord of the Rings 1-3. It's a beautiful combintaion of the most known and unknown legends, histories and creationmyths. Art of an genious of Tongue and Writing. Sir J.R.R Tolkien. Great Honour
The description of Melkor, is just frightening. Seriously he just seems so terribly powerful.

the music at the end's a little over dramatic lol. It kind of ruins the mood.
Tolkien's a flippin genius though. Ainulindale's amazing and in some parts just completely profound
