i have a picture with my fiancee but its 6yrs old. dont have recent pics because we broke up for a few yrs but now decided to get married i wonder if that pic will work or if i need to go to her country and take recent pics.does anyone know? thank you
To be eligible to apply for a Fiancee Visa, you must have met face to face within the past two years. The usual way this is demonstrated is by a copy of your plane ticket, the page from your passport showing your entry to her country, PLUS a photo of the two of you together. If you have traveled to her country prior to the 2 years, then the photo will REQUIRE to have date stamps, in order to prove it was taken recently not 6 years ago. see: Date Stamping on Photos at my website.
i am lifetime citizen girl friend of a year has visited multiple times and ready for next step marriage but unfamiliar with all of the forms i would love assistance
The fiancee's birth certificate must be presented in original or certified copy at the consulate interview. While USCIS does not require her BC, I always include it with the original petition anyway. I believe in this practice as it places ALL relevant documents in front of any reviewers, and thus speeds the process.
i want to move to america to be with my fiance that i have known for 5 years and i live in canada from canada to us is it for difficult or easiar or the same?
im trying to apply for the form 129f to bring my fiance to marry in the US. however, my fiance's parents seem to have misplaced/lost her birth certificate and being that she was born in a rural area of Korea, it's going to be hard to find it. Was a birth certificate absolutely required? or is her passport sufficient?
