Played the Saw 2 demo just today. I'm a big fan of the Saw series and not just for the traps but for the morality provocation behind it. It's just about everything you'd see in a Saw movie except you play it, and it's pretty damn scary (the first time around anyway). The problem with these types of games is that they have little to no replay value due to a lack of multiplayer. If they added some online gaming to this series with a Saw twist I'd bet they'd make a killing (no pun intended).

The first Saw movie was great. Not too much gore, character development, and a surprise ending that blindsided you. After that they ramped up the gore to a ridiculous level, and the endings became more and more predictable every movie.
