My friend had written the line where they die in a draft on her phone and she showed it to me without realising I hadnt got that far and I cried. I read it and went 'What?' and she goes 'Remus and Tonks.. SHIT! You havnt got that far have you?!' and I went 'They die?' and cried lol :D I didnt cry when I read it though I cried when Bellatrix died.

She's a total fanatic and the reason I got into HP in the first place, so I thought she'd finished it way before me...NOPE! She'd send back messages like, "MAL, SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!" Oops! You know what? As soon as Lupin asked Harry to be Teddy's godfather, I thought,"Oh no, Tonks and Lupin are doomed!". I wasn't surprised that they died "ob scena". It's nice to imagine that they fought side by side, but maybe Tonks never found him. You can make it as tragic as you like. They were a tragic romance from the start.

Legally speaking, Harry would've had guardianship if there were no family members left, or if the remaining members signed him over...

Harry could have very well raised him, but I just figured that James said, "Our Teddy," because Teddy was like part of the family.
