The n85 has a better screen. But the N82 has a better camera.

i have them both already, the only thing about n85 is that, it doesn't have a xenon flash..unlike the n82, the images that captured is much better and clearer, but i love them both....i feel sorry for my 6300, i lost it...hmmmm...

n82 all the way! the n85 may have a better screen, but the sliding form factor ,lousy camera and lack of xenon flash is a real deal breaker for me.

definitivamente me qdo con el N82 no he visto hasta ahora mejor flash de noche.... soy un nocturno y en cada disco pufff saca excelentes fotos!!! n85 mejor diseño pero footos no pasa nada, solo spero q el Sony ericsson satio sea mucho mejor q el n82 ahi si me lo compro xD

if youre planning to do those kind of things all the time it surely won't last more than 8 hours, check n82 reviews on the web for battery tests for the nokia n82

N82's battery life is definitely shorter than N85 due to the increased power and smaller battery. Given, either one won't last you all day and night if you really are going to be constantly playing music while texting and gaming but the N85 will last you much longer. I know that in OFFLINE mode, N82 is rated around 10 hrs compared to 24 hrs on the N85. Not to say that N82 won't last you long. The music quality is better on the N85, though. It depends on what you want: battery or performance?

buen video compañero, supongo sera mayor la diferencia teniendolos en tus manos, pero desde aqui se nota muy poco esas diferencias, igual y en un nuevo firmware lo pueden solucionar....

bueno no creo que se pueda solucionar con firmware puesto a que es una limitacion del procesdor del n85, es de menor poder de procesamiento que el del n82

The N82, N95 8gb, and E90 have a hardware graphics accelerator (and more RAM), unlike the N85 (or any other nokia phones). It's kind of like a graphics card for phones. That's why those 3 particular phones can process games and videos better. Look up Nokia E3 Demo and it shows a better example of the accelerator. I guarantee you that the N85 and the like will not be able to play that very well.
