  • Is kinda sad, because the Colors! java app is only compatible with Iphone and ipad and ipod touch, but not with other java platforms (like LG Cookie, Samsung, etc.)

You know, i want to record my drawings, but nooooooooooooooooooooo its only and exclusive for the "i" devices.

That, just suck, then why is "java"

I love my N3DS, and im waiting for Colors! 3DS

  • it's really sad that they stopped developing it for DS and continue only with iphone only :(

  • wait a sec this is a freaking doodle O.o

  • Could you perhaps upload Colors! to a 1 click hoster?

They have removed the official download from the website D:

  • OOMMGG, THATS AMAZING :'D

  • what version do you use?

  • Thats Fenominal

  • that's amaaaaaazzzzing i can only draw like this on real papers with real pencils although i have the program on my ds i can barly draw super mario....again ur amazing keep it up

  • It must feel awesome to have the power of a graphics tablet in your pocket :)

  • no way did you make that with the ds( just saying) this is some awesome software!

  • Has anyone found a good spriting app which allows for zoom and easy changing colours?

=/ In need of one quite badly, DS Spriter is really not a good choice, DS Paint is more plain drawing.

  • @Krisando this may be super late but the lastest version of animantee makes a great choice for sprite editing, zoom functions and grids with animation and a changeable pallete. It was made for animation but its perfect for sprite editing. Youll have to use the export AVI option then use a soft ware to export frames as bitmaps, or use a print screen and paste them into your favorite art program.

  • damn..they shud add layers on this..im horrible at it...layers r so much easier o.o

  • They need to put something like this on DSiWare when it launches.

  • damn u r good

  • whyy are people so goood at colours.

  • !!! you are f*cking good!

I sometimes also use Colors but my touch screen is a bit defect so...

  • Cant seem to get this ds game anywhere!

  • It's homebrew.

  • how would you download it though?

  • u will need an r4 or m3 or ds linker or copied r4 types to store Colours

  • Hello...how transport the animation to pc?

  • wow..

you REALLY drew this on your DS?! *speechless*

  • wow.

you REALLY drew it that quickly?

  • Press start and then clear to erase everything, or just use white/whatever colour you background id

  • how do ya get the playback from ya ds onto ya pc? theres 3 files per image ,png ,drw and tmb ,which is it

  • God i never get tired of watching this. I wish i was that good of an artist...

  • hey can you tell me hy this would not work on an ipod touch with a stylus pen? is it good because of it's pressire sensitivity/resolution .. that you couldnt get on an ipod touch screen?

  • it's for the Nintendo DS only. The maker didn't make a version compatible with the ipod touch. and even with a DS emulator (if there are any) it would be glitchy and inconvenient for drawing.

  • damn. colors is so cool.

i feel like it would take off if more people had access to it .

  • PLEASE TELL ME!!

is this like a game for DS that havent come out yet (Iwant it) or do you need some empty DS card or what? tell me how to do is PLESE just press reply and tell me I beg you I olve to draw and Its like a dream to with colors on DS PLEASE reply as fast as you see this1

  • You'll need a cartridge that is able to boot homebrew, like the m3 simply.

  • which is?

  • Try to google it, google has always been a better explainer than me...:P

  • how did u get such a good recording?

  • by the way you are an amazing artist

  • There's a Java tool for replaying the drawing file, and turning it into an AVI. Check the Colors DS site for this.

  • do the videos end up being 500MB or so for you as well?

  • Yeah, they do. I converted this one to mpeg2 with Nero's video editor before putting it on youtube.

  • How do you get this on your DS?

  • Ok is Colors a real program? like offical Nintendo DS or did someone make it?

I'd consider buying a DS if it's legite, but I've never heard of it.

  • It's a 'homebrew' piece of software, not authorised by Nintendo. You need a cartridge capable of transferring programs to such as the 'R4' cartridge.

  • Cool thanks..I was doing some research...I guess it's like a $30 part, lets you play avi files etc...

  • cool, never heard of a program this advanced on the ds, with pressure sensitivity. thanks for the link :)
