  • Did she not get banned for using illegal enhancing drugs?

  • @1gadena She was banned (for a year, I think) for missing three drugs tests. I don't think anyone believed that she actually took drugs, UK Athletics is particularly stringent on drugs, they can demand a test whenever they like, wherever in the world you are, and it was three of these random drugs tests that she missed, hence the ban.

  • i am proud that i share 2 names that christine has and we are both nigerian britsh people she give s me so much pride :D

  • Christine is BRITISH end of, we should be proud of her not sit on youtube argueing where she is from.

  • lots of racist yanks with no passports in the world. LOL

  • If only Chambers was as smart as her; he could have been competing alongside all the other smart athletes that avoid getting caught on the program.

  • How about this... FUCK all you criticisers. Christine is an Olympic, World and Commonwealth Champion. You don't do this triple by luck!

  • yay well done Christine :D

  • @vim90

She sounds to be very intelligent and decisive, good on her.

You sound rather silly in light of real news about collapsing roofs, self-demolishing bridges, unhygenic athlete accommodation, shootings of tourists, terrorist threats, dengue fever, late monsoon storms...

But I suppose this all pales in comparasin to what a disaster Glasgow 2014 will be. Why can't we have good cities like London, Edinburgh, or Manchester. Hell, what about Hull? I'd go to Hull, never Glasgow.

  • @vim90 pathetic.

  • @vim90 she's British. you're useless.

  • @vim90 like I said, pathetic. bursting a carotid over some imagined infraction.

  • @vim90 bling? you mean flashy jewellery? ohh....you mean the gold medals, I get it now. black (note: negro is out of date terminology) athletes aren't the only ones who have been caught doping...Rani Yadav ring any bells?

  • @vim90 Everst climbers? lmao! Like I said, ignorance.

  • this is the most boring commintator

  • antyukh shouldn't have switched to hurdles

  • To any people out side of the UK listening to British people crticising Christine here...it's just what a large group of the UK population like to do - attack our sports men and women who actually do win to try and lower their achievements. It happens all the time, even when they are the best in the world.

Paula Radlciffe is another example of an athelete who has achieved and yet she gets more negative comments than anyone else.

It's a real shame. Why can't all Brits celebrate success?

  • @DogKirk actually it's the english that like to attack people because they think they're better than anyone else but us Welsh are nothing like those english, there's a difference between being british and english ;)

  • how did this commentator get a job

  • what a shit commentator. no emotion at all

  • She may have missed three tests, but she explained herself to an experienced and sceptical panel which imposed a two year ban on her, combined with an integrated and frequent testing regime.

She has not missed a test in years and has proven herself clean, to the satisfaction of everyone that matters.

  • She'd have run a lot faster if she was being chased by a drugs tester.

  • and by the way, I would like to remind you how hard it is for professional athletes to know when the drugs testers will come. they give time slots and areas when they THINK they will be there. Britains doping is the toughest in the world and that is why so many Brits are on 2 missed tests, and no other countries are.

    I REST MY CASE

  • how is she a cheat. she never took drugs. she missed 3 random drug tests, outside of championships. she never missed one before or after a championship. just while training so it's quite the impossibility that she cheated. fyi

  • so i guest she cheated in the Olympic 2 huh

  • Without some faith of innocence there can be no sport of athletics .

  • What a dull commentator.

  • people that are saying she tested positive or watever, just cant handle it that they're country didnt win this race! only stating the facts

  • Christine Ohuruogu is so misunderstood. I wish people would forgive and forget, she's a really lovely person and doesnt diserve this.

  • GREAT RACE!!!!

  • i know her, me and her brother anre like best friends...

  • Have any women broke 50.0 or any men broke 44.0 without steroids? I really doubt it under low altititude conditions. All our track heroes of the past two generations were probably using something.

  • Are you a conspiracy theorist or something?

Under 49 I could see your point in 50? LOADS of women have done that. You just a jackass that failed at sports so have to accuse all decent athletics of cheating.

  • 50 has been broken by dozens of women. The idea that it's an impossible barrier for anybody to break without steroids is nonsensical. Impossible for me or you, but that's hardly the same thing.

  • Comment removed

  • OR... other way to see it is that all those women were into drugs. I know there's no proof, but there are many things you can't prove and still are very likely to be truth. Consider all the money involved, the relative unlikeliness to be detected, the pressure of sponsors for good results, the fact that for an athelte it's very hard not to do it knowing that most who they're competing with probably are.

  • Wait you think a woman can't break 50s unless she's on steroids?!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH, what a fucking idiot you are. Allyson Felix broke it and she's part of one of those huge testing programs. In fact SOOOO Many woman have broke 50s, it's considered a very slow time. You really need to do your research.

  • That's my point of view and thinking the opposite IMHO is naive. At elite class just everybody know it and it's an open secret.

  • Men who have broken 44:

    1. 43.18 Michael Johnson

    2. 43.29 Harry 'Butch' Reynolds

    3. 43.45 Jeremy Wariner

    4. 43.50 Quincy Watts

    5. 43.75 LaShawn Merritt

  • you forgot the first man to ever break the 44 barrier: Lee Evens! (1968 Olympics in Mexico: gold also)

  • Women who have broken 50 47.60 Marita Koch 47.99 Jarmila Kratochvílová 48.25 Marie-José Pérec 48.27 Olga Vladykina-Bryzgina 48.59 Taťána Kocembová 48.63 Cathy Freeman 48.70 Sanya Richards 48.83 Valerie Brisco-Hooks 48.89 Ana Guevara 49.05 Chandra
  • Christine and Nicola won their Olympic medals fair and square. Anyone who says otherwise is a coward who ins't fit to lick their shoes. Peace.

  • Oh yeah, you don't have to be on steroids to run a phenomenal time in the 400m. The event is a speed endurance event that only requires for you to find a way to retard lactic acid build up. This could be the difference in a 2% improvment. The difference between first and last in the final.I personally don't know if Ohuruogu's performance is artificially enhanced, but I'm a little suspicious.

  • Sorry third place...

  • Wow,this is pretty upsetting because I know that Novelene , the second place finisher, is about as legit as they come. She trained extremely hard to get to the level of "world class". It's a shame that individuals can take short cuts and subvert the system. Hey, the U.S. has been guilty as well... Take a look at the all-time men's 400m list. It's awfully strange that the U.S. is the only country that can produce 43 sec. 400m runners hmmmmm.

  • novelene was third behind Britain's Nicola Sanders and Nicola has never cheated or tested positive for drugs.Whilst on that matter Christine has never failed a drugs test she simply missed 3.She has since raced in several high profiled events such as the olympics and never failed a test! its easy to believe the hype rather than look for the truth. fact is Christine has worked extremely hard to achieve her status as Olympic and World Champion and achieved it when everyone else wanted her to fail.

  • ohorogu never tested positive she missed 3 tests in an 18 month period. its quite easy 2 do. they bringin it in tennis an football an its gunna cause a lot of problems

  • Most world class runners trains their guts out and use whatever performance enhancements allow them to be competitive that can't get them in trouble. That's not a 'short cut' it's the only path to the medal stand.

  • no it's not can't be true steve regrave never did drugs and he won 5 golds

  • I agree with you lucas, but an even bigger problem is the denial of it all.

  • bens39 thats a ridiculous idea but could work... lol

  • In the UK we have one of the toughest drugs testing regimes in sport of all countries. Christine Ohuruogu missed 3 tests but some may not be aware how things work. You have to tell people where you are going to be and then be there. They' don't ring you and give you say 1 hour to be there if you're not.... for example - one of Christine's tests was missed because her usual track was being used for a school sports day and she and her coach went to another one. No call to say come and do a test.

  • amazing

  • Soon we will have the Drug Olympics - where Athletes will not only be "allowed" to use drugs, but be "encouraged" to use them. This way everyone will be given a fair chance.

People having heart attacks out on the track, athletes bleeding suddenly from the eyes and ears, etc etc.. It will be wonderful. And then nobody will be able to make accucations anymore about missing drug tests, using steroids.

  • well done christine, good race

  • Those who say Christine looks like a man or is as ugly as sin need a guide dog! She has to be one of the most beautiful women on the planet. Her smile can light up a whole stadium. They say the eyes are the windows of the soul; well, Christine's have such a delightful sparkle and are full of gentleness as well as strength. I can't believe she'd ever want to hurt anyone. And it goes without saying, she has a body to die for!

  • @waitabittrelawny Calm down

  • How easy do people think it is to overturn a ban from the ioc? I'll simply say this; Kelly Sotherton (Heptaphalete)is very much anti-doping (like 99.9% of all Atheletes) yet she was in the birds nest that night cheering on Ohuruogu.

We should be cheering her on as well. Commonwealth, World & now Olympic champion! What a runner!

  • everyone should stop hating on her

she's reppin' Great Britain for crying out loud

  • your pathetic

1 you can't cheer on someone who's reppin the country

2 you defend my statement by trying to compare to serious crimes

how low can u get and it seems you hate her to your black heart all you mention about her is how she cheated and that she took drugs well here's a news flash EVERYONES DIFFERENT if fact i bet you look like a man

  • You can't compare murder, rape and paedophilia to missing a drugs test.

  • your hating cos u can neva be as good as her

  • 1970s British 400 meter runner David Jenkins was convicted of supplying steroids on a massive scale $70 million dollars worth I believe. The official estimate was that about 10% of sports people were on some sort of performance enhancing substance, Jenkins estimate was 99.9%. As he remarked at the time "I should know I sell it to them.". Have things changed much since then? I very much doubt it.

  • Correct. Most of them are taking stuff.

They may test "clean". But so what? Most people don't have a clue about that this actually means. They just quote the TV news but they haven't been inside athletics like I have. There is a huge amount going on, under the surface.

The technology today is finding effective things which are not yet on the baned list. Therefore you test clean, but still enhance your times with super hard training.

  • do you know what i think you should do cara, CONCENTRATE ON ATHLETES FROM YOUR OWN COUNTRY, what has she actually done that has offended you, can you try and prove she has taken drugs cause afterall she was cleared of any wrong doing by people who know what they are talking about. cause you are actually bordering on becoming a stalker to this lady.

  • Look I do come from the UK, you retard. I just happen to be in Israel at the moment.

And I'm not being a stalker thanks very much, I'm stating the facts. She missed three drugs tests. Noone does that unless they are on the fiddle. One maybe but three in a short period? Use some common sense please.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA You know nothing about athletics. She missed 3 in 18 months, thats every 6 months, which is a long time.

Get your facts right. Did she steal your boy or something in high school?

  • one in October '05 and two in June '06

  • but she took tests immediately after,

  • Marion Jones took tests immediately after her events in Sydney

  • that doesn't follow in any way

If you had missed a drug test because you were worried you would fail, you would still fail if you took one immediately after.

The fact is she took tests before and after and was clean

marion jones took drugs before sydney, not during, hence why she didn't fail.

    THEY ARE NOT THE SAME

  • Christine Ohuruogu Brought Home The Gold For Team GB, Well Done, She's My Idol And A Fantastic Runner.

  • outstanding!

  • She is not a cheater. Ohuruogu was the first athlete to fall foul of the UK's ridiculously strict whereabouts reporting system, which was subsequently amended because of this case. In no other country would she have ever faced this ban. She has received backing from every area of the IOC and fellow athletes.

  • Do you have the same vitriol for Tim Don, Becky Lynne, etc or any of the other 70 athletes that have missed tests?

  • The message Ohuruogu sends out is that if you miss one more test than a lot of people, then you will suffer a harsh ban that no other country would enforce. However, after examining the circumstances, the governing body will state that there was no suggestion of any cheating being involved.

The only people who will bring up this issue years later are sad, embittered little internet trolls, who will blindly stick to their views, despite all the evidence.

  • Advertising executives are wrining their hands about "what to do with Christine Ohuruogo, she looks like Frank Bruno's little brother." As ugly as sin.

  • look in the mirror then talk! takes one to know one

  • Ah, yes, because all women athletes should look like Kournikova, because anything else is just not ladylike huh?

No, she got that way with a bit of proper training. She isn't even all that muscular.

  • If u dont believe me then i have proof but i know christine ohorogu she has known me since i was a baby and i do swear to god that i know her and her family and i was soooooooo happy that she won thanks to a burst of hope and strength

  • Chrsitine has tested clean throughout her career, both before and after the three misses, but on a testing basis which is more intensive than the required schedule.

What you are guilty of, Cara, is leaping to conclusions and posting criticisms without even bothering to check the facts, for personal reasons that are best left undescribed and unexcused.

Now, that is truly shsmeful and scurrilous.

  • Why did CAS do this? Because Christine was able to prove to a a very hardened and suspicious panel that - in one instance where she missed a drugs test - she remembered at the last minute, and turned up only a few hours late. She tested clean anyway, but sicne she'd missed the deadline, it didn't count. On the other occasions, once advised she'd missed the tests, Christine was tested within days, and tested clean. But again, technically, they were 'misses'.

  • Look, just because she won a medal it doesn't mean she is not a drugs cheat.

She could clean now but she may have used things in the past to work her way up. And even if she showed clean in tests that she has done, those are only for certain compounds.

Many athletes use new compounds which don't yet show up in the tests. It's a constant battle of chemistry off the track to find new things to cheat with that don't show in the tests.

  • You could use the same 'argument' to show that anyone is a drugs cheat. More to the point, if she used things that "don't yet show up in the tests", then why would she feel the need to deliberately miss them at all.

  • They weren't sure about the new compounds so as a precaution they kept her away from the testers till the level declined. They were probably testing her too to check what the levels were and if they showed up. Noone misses THREE tests if this isn't the case.

  • Ah, but lot's of people miss 2 and are perfectly innocent right?

And it was all just a co-incidence that her training ground had been double booked, conveniently giving her the perfect excuse?

  • yy donn u jus change ur name too ihatechristinebohuruogu cah thats all u rite bout,

every video i see its like 'shes a druggy, she looks like a bloke, did u hearrr about that christine ohuruogu shes scum' its like what she used too bullyy u at skool or something,

or is this ur life... sad if so

  • My thoughts exactly conali! I cant believe CaraBrimley is still here slagging off Christine Ohuruogu. The 'ugly girl' must have stolen your man at some point Cara! lol

  • Christine must be really special to generate so much hysteria for missing 3 drugs test just like two other English Athletes have:

Peter Cousin - Judo and Tim Don - Triathlete also missed 3 drugs test and represented Great Britain at the Beijing Olympics.

I am against every form of racism and segregation, every form of discrimination. I believe in human beings, and that all human beings should be respected as such, regardless of their color."

  • Christine has cheated the drugs testers by changing her location. She should be perm banned like Chambers. Chambers is black too, so what, it's nothing to do with race.

    Cheats out. Now!!

  • yaay! -XD shes great ...good luk 2 the rest ov team GB =]

  • Ohuruogo had to pass a drugs test to come back to competition to win in Osaka. It's also worth noting that she just won Olympic Gold in China, beating Sanya Williams.

And before any zealous American or otherwise comments, a real cheat was Ben Johnson. Ouch.

Hurrah for Ohuruogu! Well Done Christine!! England loves you.

  • Wrong. You love her. England doesn't.

    England doesn't love cheats.

  • It is worth noting that, in rejecting an appeal against the ban in April, the The Court of the Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decision stated:

"There is no suggestion that she is guilty of taking drugs in order to enhance her performance or otherwise and, indeed, this case can be viewed in all the circumstances as a busy young athlete being forgetful."

So who's right, experts with the power to expel athletes, or little toads, like you?

Christine is a winner. God bless her.

  • "So who's right, experts with the power to expel athletes, or little toads, like you?"

    Lol. Exactly. Good comment.

  • And you carabrimelyrules apparently are 'the voice of england', right? You sure hate her, one wonders why exactly? I see you've been dogging threads about Christine all over youtube leaving derogatory comments about her. Truth is, noone cares one way or the other what your feelings are about Christine. The undisputed facts are, she has never been found guilty of cheating, and she has just won Britain's first athletic gold. She's also black, sorry, but deal with it ma'am! Racism is an ugly trait!

  • It's nothing to do with racism.

I fully support the medals won by the other GB black athletes.

You don't miss 3 drugs tests unless you are up to something. All she had to do was train and comply, it was her full time job, so deal with that.

  • Yes...I think the facts are relevant here, Cara. Yes, Christine missed 3 drugs tests, and was handed a ban by the IOC, which she served. The Olympic ban was a BOA penalty, against which Christine appealed to the CAS, which ruled in her favour. Now, the CAS doesn't normally do that, because they are deeply sceptical of excuses, and have heard every excuse in the book. But they ruled in Chrstine's favour because of the demonstrated circumstances, once she had served her ban.

  • Cara, I take it you're one of those people that run amock with glee at negative news without bothering to check the circumstances surrounding them. Of course all the information around Christine's '3 misses' given by the others below is freely available on the internet for anyone that cares to do a little research, and would have absolved her fully of any further suspicion around her missing the tests, but not you Cara, you are the judge and jury and you know better than CAS who let her off

  • Vague accusastions like 'you don't miss 3 drug tests unless you are up to something' are surely more airtight in 'your world where she is guilty' than the hard facts of the case, which in all 3 instances clearly indicated that she was not and was never under any actual suspicion of taking drugs. The CAS don't know what they're doing Cara, they should just leave it up to you and your 'intuition about these things'. The fact that she was tested and found clean is irrelevant. Cara knows best...

  • I see your type all over the place Cara. You're one of those, 'that's my story and i'm sticking to it so please don't bother me with the truth' people. You honestly should be ashamed of yourself, and your inability to celebrate this girl's victory, inspite of the fact that the clear facts of the case exonorate her from any suspicion of drug taking. Peter Cousin and Tim Don also missed 3tests and are in Beijing as well for GB. Are you waging a campaign of calumny against them too? I think not.

  • Of course it's no use trying to set you sttraight any further. It's notoriously hard to reason with stupidity, so I'll leave it at that, and I think so should everyone else. Don't change Cara. Assailing someone's territory based on flawed intelligence...very attractive...there's certainly a lot of it going round...

  • BECOME A PROFFESSIONAL ATHLETE AND YOU TRY. LOTS HAVE MISSED ONE TEST. YOU'RE JUST A JELOUS, SPOILT CUNT, THAT CANT DO ANYTHING AND LACKS TALENT.

    Go to Brigend

  • I think these are amazing athletes (the best in the world) and part of winning at this level is using stimulants and/or whatever chemicals one can get away with. I don't consider that cheating it's just real. It's a jungle out there. Why don't these athletes submit to lie detector tests if they are so 'pure?' I knew olympic distance runners using EPO in the late 90's why? They could get away with it and it improved their 5k time by 30 seconds.

  • Well in that case she's an idiot.

She never failed a drugs test and this is proof you are not an athletics fan. If you were, you would know she was tested MORE then anyother athlete on the British team, and actually passed several tests inbetween the last 2 cases. Get the facts right and then you will realise this isnt as sinister as you think it is!

  • so if christine ohuruogu misses three tests she was just unorganised, but if a Greek athlete misses one test because of a 'motorcycle accident' they are obviously cheating. i'm not saying christine is doping or that thanou or kenderis were clean, i'm just wondering what a british person would say about a russian or greek or american who missed three tests like ohuruogu

  • It depends on the circumstances. It wouldnt happen in america, the testing regime isnt strict enoug. Thenou and Kenderis should have been banned. THey still missed 3 tests, and the motorcycle accident was all staged so they couldnt face the testers. THat is the difference.

  • It is worth noting that, in rejecting an appeal against Ohuruogo's ban, The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) stated:

"There is no suggestion that she is guilty of taking drugs in order to enhance her performance or otherwise and, indeed, this case can be viewed in all the circumstances as a busy young athlete being forgetful."

  • u dont miss 3 drug tests by mistake.

  • Correct. At last some sanity in this comment forum.

  • she only missed tests she dint actually take drugs...if she did, she wuldnt b ther, end of.

  • seanthegreat183 hmmm yea ok maybe not so great.a so called professional athlete does not miss 3 drugs tests, and she never tested posotive because she never provided a sample.its a tainted medal and alot of ppl will agree and disagree wiv me.but i fink that the sporting worls doesnt need people like that

  • Peter Cousin - Judo and Tim Don - Triathlete are English Athletes who missed 3 drug tests and both won appeals against lifetime olympic ban.

Tim Don and Peter Cousin were at the Beijing Olympics. Little or nothing is said about them. Why?

Rio Ferdinand was also suspended for missing drug test and everyone is happy for him to play for England and Captain the National Team & Man U., no complaints. Why is Christine the exception.

You can search your hearts and you will find the answer.

  • You nailed it benjac. Christine is the exception because she is black. Racism lives! In Britain its nurtured and allowed to thrive unfettered. Its a sad day for British sport. It should have been a day of rejoicing, but apparently, some people can't bring themselves to share in the victory, ostensibly because she was overcoming a ban (like who isnt?). Political correctness won't let them admit the real reason they dont identify with this British athlete's win. Racist punks! Well done Christine!

  • I'm ashamed to be living in Britain when I see the kind of mixed response this girl has received. Imagine some claiming she shouldnt be wearing a British vest. Why? Because her parents are not originally British? Most of the population of Britain today would fail to qualify as British if this test were rigidly applied. Britain doesn't deserve talent like this if racism overshadows national pride at our first athletics gold so far. The British just cant stop cannibalising their own can they? Sad!

  • I dont care if she missed a drug test or whatever, i couldnt care if she was black white asian whatever, all i care about is she is wearing a GB crest on her top and she has just taken an olympic gold, so lets stop discussing the politics and hail another gold for team GB

  • thank god some has a brain. its just racist ignorant people who have to spoil the glory. it makes their sad sorry lives seem that little bit better.

  • I so agree, she's a great athlete and she stands proud for Brit, so why can't we be proud for her?

    I def am.

  • Christine Ohuruogu was asked how she felt about those who believed she should not be wearing a British vest, let alone a gold medal around her neck. "They can think what they like," she said, "I'm happy."

I'm happy for her too. well done girl.

  • I'm not happy, she is cheated the system by missing the tests, she should be banned like Chambers.

Sanya should get the medal. Druguruogu should get the plane back to Nigeria.

  • NOT TRUE she didn't cheat the system, she was banned for missing 3 tests, but she never tested positive, chambers did, and that's what set them apart. you make yourself look even worse by saying things like that. Get over it, she is a very talented woman, who, on the day was BETTER than sanya, so stop trying to diminish her achievement. Click on the thumbs up if you agree with me

  • So was Shericka Wiliams cheating too?

At the end of the day, stop thinking you know everything, you dont. You seem to hate this girls guts, did she nick your boy friend in high school?

  • Who is this jamessmedley dimwitted nitwit? Christine Ohuruogo is not a Brit? Okay then, she's Nigerian! Happpy now? Thats what this really is about isnt it with all your racist innuendo about people sending fake emails to strangers conning them. Moron, you had better be happy that you have black people in GB sports who are able to win the real endurance games. Without these 'non Brits' as you call them, team GB would only ever win golds in foofoo sports like canoeing and sailing. Stipid twat!

  • No, James is right. These drugs cheats are not British. She cheated the drugs tests. She will probably get tested and stripped of her medal.

The British do not need these tainted medals.

  • she wil only get stripped of her medal if she tests positive, thers not proof shes even taken drugs in the past so how is it tainted? i doubt sum1 hu was banned 4 MISSIN a test (not tested positive) wuld risk takin drugs at the olympics weva she did b4 or not. if nefin she wil b the 1st athlete they test afta the race jus bcos of wots gon on

  • i think they test the first 4 and then 1 random runner after the race. i think that everydody that reaches the olympic final should get tested just incase.

  • ignorance: christine took 14 tests the year she was banned and still come back and won the world championship. surely thats suggests that she has talent. if people had the intelligence to actually read up on the facts, you would know that over a thousand tests were missed worldwide in one year and many athletes (inc British)have missed two. it was just a matter of time someone missed 3. For godsake can British people be happy for once about a brilliant win and not slag people off

  • not everyone has the intelligence to think for themselves. I deal with that by laughing at them. It's the only way to not get stressed. Lemmings. They rely on the daily rags to tell them what to think of things.

  • without the balco lab american sprinting is going DOWN hahahahaha

  • Another athlete with a cloud over their history... I just cant get interested in her..or share any sort of victory..

  • Yes she missed three drugs tests but she did the time and shes come out of it on top, I wish her all the best and was literally jumping out my seat when she won, Sanya simply started to fast and should have known that Christines finish would overtake her with such a strategy. Looking forward to London 2012!

  • christine cant even give a fukin proper interview "i dont no what to say" "i dont no what to say" "i dont no what to say" "i dont no what to say" "i dont no what to say" "i dont no what to say"

  • she doesn't have to say anything, she's an athlete not a tv star. she's olympic champion. dickhead.

  • I agree on both counts, Atheletes don't need to deliver the goods in a TV studio, they need to deliver it on the track which no-one can say Christine doesn't do. However, she did seem quite camera shy & unresponsive unlike Adlington who really could become a spokesperson for her sport.

  • u dont no anything bout athletics do u

  • When did you become a proffesional athlete that got tested regularlary?

  • GO ON CHRISTINE!

good for her, I'm so glad she got it

  • Are you still here jamesmedley82? Really, you should try and get out a bit, it might do you good.

  • You're probably right. This little room is getting too claustrophobic (and Youtube too addictive) for me.Must go out and get myself some air and a doner kebab. Cheerio.

  • lets get this straight, christine never cheated the system as she never failed a test. second, if she did fail a test at these games then her A sample would have came back by now to say she had cheated. third she had bad management that should have told her about the tests

  • dont wanna sound cruel but .... she looks abnormal.

  • Great race, btw. :D

  • God, talk about moronic. Stick a video up on here of someone winning a running race and all the bullshit starts. If certain people genuinely believe all this shit about British people/English people......well, that's pretty fucking sad for them. Get. A. Life. You brainless imbeciles.

  • She did great, awsome race ...blew everyoneaway :D

To all the haters and to all the narrow minded fools in here, before you type something learn your facts, because you just end up looking like a real twat

  • he likes them
