I have seen this "Q" show on you tube once, before this interview with Brent. I think you should take a page from Brent's life and "If you start believing in your own hype and start buying into it, you are done."

You do not show the respect that is deserved for your guest's.

@kingfreakinkong I'm really not seeing where you're getting that impression. All I saw was some gentle ribbing that was not at all inappropriate in the context of an interview with a COMEDIAN. Or maybe it's the fact that this is a radio show and thus the way it plays out visually is different from late night. Or maybe it's just that his style rubs you the wrong way. But from the many interviews I've heard (even the infamous "would you say that to Tom Petty?" one) he's always been courteous.

Last Monday I caught 'Hiccups'......two thumbs up! Very impressive. Tightly scripted with great characters. Brent Butt and company pulled it off seamlessly. Nancy Robertson looks luminous and is hilarious.

I love Corner Gas. It will always be one of my favorite shows. What I find hard to believe is why Corner Gas didn't make it into the US market. I am in the midwest and got it on direct TV. Great interview, wonderful show.

i personally think Corner Gas could've gone at least one more season ( even though season 6 started to decline)

I also think the Series Finale could've been better (joke-wise, not story-wise)

All in all Corner Gas is one of my favourite shows, I have all episodes on DVD an my computer. I sure hope Hiccups is good!

As creator, producer, writer and actor of Corner Gas, how was Corner Gas not all about him? His new show's main character is Nancy Robertson. Doesn't sound like he is leaving a popular show to start one featuring ONLY him immediately after.

As for Mercer, perhaps you feel that Greg Thomey (who also created This Hour Has 22 Minutes) is somehow more humble because he hasn't been in front of the camera since he left (?).
