I understand that the lifestyle is an expression because I mix it up too! but kids today take it too far. I see freshmen and younger dressing in all black n sayin "i got 99 problems" and a "prep" with equal or worse probs living life trying to better themselves to escape happily instead of sulking in a dark corner.

My ex was an 8th grader when we dated, and she had to go through therapy and bullies while her parents were splitting up and everyone was making fun of her for cutting herself. Not only was her pain and suffering extreme, but she was too young to understand how to deal with it. For her, cutting was the only way to relieve the pain. Its depressing just to think about it.
