Yes, this video is only reversed segments of the two best clips of this film with a single Alterbridge hit in the background. About as simplistic as you can get. So why should this video be so good?
Because so much of this already flows without editing. It creates the feeling that these two clips and this song were made for each other. Were Lordvalvasar were to actually edit this where every shot and every camera switch matched the music, it would be for better or worse. Such is the trend for all remade or "upgraded" games and "cleaned up" versions of older music and movies.
The Optimus/Megatron fight after the Rodimus/Galvatron fight caught me completely off guard. This video would be less than half as good if the clips were in their chronological order.
I've been watching this video every few days for months now, and have yet to grow tired of it. Kudos!
Maybe you could use a few other clips than the 2 sequences, I can't remember, but when Rodimus reclaimed the Matrix in the series, and later Prime did, were there sequences like the movie? If there were maybe they could have been used on the choruses, 1st verse/chorus Galvatron v Hot Rod, 2nd Dark Awakening with Optimus v Hot Rod, and 3rd the Return of Optimus Prime rematch.
I admit to having no talent with this kind of thing, so feel free to ignore this.
