When you stamp with staz-on on a tumbled marble tile, go ahead and heat set it in the oven (10-15 minutes at about 300 degrees) - that should keep it from scratching :)
A quick comment about the stamped image - the vinyl actually has some texture to it so it is not a completely smooth surface - this is why you are seeing a bit of "texture" in the stamped image of the medallion stamped areas.
i should clean the stamp with some stazon cleaner before the first use, because it's a pretty solid stamp, and it's not really solid right now... because of the stuff allways is on new stamps... (solids have the most issues with this). A little soft rubbing with a sanding block works fine too... (just a little over the whole stamp)...

thanks, good info, I want to stamp on a tile with stazon as a coffee coaster, not sure if it will scratch, but will give it a go.
