you need a mac!! .dmg files are always for apple (OSX (e.g. OS 10.6 is the newest i think))

got an iphone 4 and using a macbook pro. i have made my custom FW and have used the needed bundle. when i go into DFU through pwnage tool and go into itunes to custom restore i get an error 11 code after it says verifying restore with apple.

@mendyamzalak Hey if you still need help here's some tips & what it could be.
•Removed bbfw file in the firmware folder of an unzipped IPSW. Can also be used to prevent a baseband update. The device is bootable, if you set the auto-boot to true or use TinyUmbrella and use "Kick Device out of Recovery".
•You are trying to update to a custom firmware from Pwnage Tool 4.1+. You always have to go into DFU mode and restore from there.
*If firmware installed & device works your fine. Hope it works
