Do you have any idea how long the battery would last with the horn honking nonstop, on top of the lights? A few minutes. A lot of attention it'll attract then.
Do you have any idea? Pretty damn long. I know a thing or two about electricity and cars. Pretty sure the battery would last at least 45 minutes depending on the battery's condition. Plus, after car accidents, the motor rarely dies- especially this car, with a rear engine.
Actually, the motor often dies. You forget the rest of the world drives manual. When the wheels stop, the engine stops. And the horn itself would vibrate itself into oblivion well before the 45-minute mark, I can assure you, so it's a moot point whether the battery would last that long.
Replace the words "smart car" with "motorcycle" and see how stupid your leading questions are. Sometimes cool can be cheap, green, and responsible without being fear mongered.
No, it seats two comfortably and is one of the safest cars on the road due to it's advanced passanger cage. Motorcycles aren't death machines either. You really need to turn off the talk radio and stop hating.
It's not comparable to a motorcycle. A motorcycle doesn't have a reinforced cage or seat belts or ABS nor can it maintain its stance in a skid. In fact, compared to any other car, the diminutive smart lacks only crumple zones.
You realize the smart had to pass NHTSA crash testing (among other things) before being importable to the US.
You might want to look at the crash test videos on here. It fared very well against an E series.
Yep, It looks just as gay from the bottom !! LOL !!! XD

it was to show the emergency roll over features. I believe the lights and horns activate in a crash

Flashers maybe, but what's the point in the horn honking? That would only add confusion and run the battery flat.

Yea, because you almost need a battery if the car is totaled. The horn and flashing lights would attract attention.

I doubt the horn honks.

I am not sure, my German was not up to understanding. However, as I drive a Smart, it is not something I want to repeat in the real world.
