Nice concept. The camera dropouts really killed it for me. If you had filmed waterford to dublin there wouldn't be so much sun in your view. The guy with the idea of spinning around the roundabouts is onto something. Any form of comic relief is welcome and hard to do in timelapse. If you like this check out the time lapse vids of the ships going thru the panama canal. There is a good one of the suez canal somewhere. i like yer music choice. Very appropriate.

The camera stopped recording a few times on me, unplanned, I think the vibrations of the car were affecting the camera drop detection. I mentioned this in the description ;-)

Yeah I mentioned that in the description to the right, a few times the camera stopped recording, it was like the drop detection was being activated, probally from the virbrations of the car. happened I think 4 times, any "edits" were cuz of that, even if I got the full journey recorded in one it probably would have only added a few seconds once I sped it up

I don't know about "up the road" Red Cow if further from Sandyford than Nutgrove/Dundrum. I've travelled the N7 & N9 a few times (last was back in Sep I think) and find it adds to the journey to/from the part of Dublin I'm getting to. Especially on the way to Waterford I don't see why I should first head north if I can just start off going south which is the direction I want to go.

Y didnt ya just use de main dublin waterford road down the m7 from the red cow then down to carlow on the m9 around carlow ring road then follow the main road to waterford through tomas town on a good run it will only take ya an 2 hours and as of this month when de new sections of motorway open it could take as little as an hour and 40

Wow! It may be because we're driving towards the sun, and thus obscuring the details a bit, but this looks soooooo much like driving in my part of California!... the biggest difference being the side of the road you're driving on (which was a big problem for my Da when he was over there... after having a few glass of Bushmills). This was a great idea for a video!

Frank, I made the *exact* same trip a couple of years back, in reverse order! Started from the Quay (though I'd been staying at Mount Sion), and finished at Dundrum shopping centre. Took a bit longer than normal because my friend had to stop the car approaching New Ross, when I had to break up a Dutch couple having a domestic on the roadside!!!
