on a lappy the gfx cards are realy onboard so thats one less from a desktop and its a 8400M that will take it down one more also because its a lappy card heat is a problem so that another, but with a desktop depending on if its a dedicated card or on board will be differnt but all in all the desktop version of this card will shoot the lappy verson out of the water when it comes to power aslong as you have updated drivers then it shoudent have a problem.keep an eye on temps when runnig in high.;D
i can run farcry 2 on high and it looks frigin good

Which settigs did you use? Is this videocard a laptop-card? If yes, is it´s power comparable to the desktop-8400GS?
