i remember holding my gitar kapuk like a violin so that i could really get the right relative tuning, when i first started playing guitar. now i can tell by the slight vibration of the guitar body. and most of the time i can pick up a slightly out of tune string from a chord. it may take some time to develop sensitive ear, but make it a habit to check the tuning every time you start playing. it may help.
this would be one of my first lessons that i'll post later, hopefully.
My worst experience with guitar is when the string snapped, its nearly hit my eye (and that was when Im tuning my Kapok), Now, Im using a tuner, for safety purpose.

Bro, gua pun x reti sgt recording nih. Tapi gua ada pendapat sendiri jugak. U boleh guna pdpt gua especially if U do lots of multitracking (with Cakewalk, Sonar etc). Biasanya, selepas selesai rakaman utk track2 berlainan dlm satu lagu tu, gua akan gunakan Goldwave untuk bukak WAV files untuk setiap track tu,- untuk remove hums and noise. Sware Goldwave ni boleh didload kat internet. Saiz dia kecik jer, tak sampai 2MB. Very good for filtering noises caused by hi gains or pickup sensitivity. :)
delay mcm banyak sgt, pastu gain tinggi sgt tu.. touching quite ok, cuma bending tu nk kena praktis lagi..kiranya kalau pakai ibanez ni bleh pinch or vibrato bnyk skit.. =) weh mus, bila hang nk record, try pakai noise gate , low kan gain, adjust preamp tu jadi treble kurang, mid tengaH2 pastu bass kat no 6 or 7..pakai compressor sejibik..baru ada ummph..

Cucuk gitar kat amp, pastu miking amp tu pergi ke PC..
.. ataupun...
Kumpul duit gaji, pastu gi record kat King Studio atau Synchrosound.. ahaksszzzssz..
hujung bulan ni saya ke KL bro, kalau ada masa, saya nak tuntut ilmu sket. Pengerasnya Suria Menthol sekotak boleh?
POD memang tak mampu bro. Guitar rig dah ada, cuma ASIO sound card saya tak berapa cantek, lepas projek beli stompbox dan paddlecase, nect project nak upgrade PC. Mungkin kalau ada rezeki nak amik X-FI Pro Elite soundcard dana kalau ada lebih lagi, upgrade system pakai Quad-Core AMD pulak (yang ni tak sure lagi)
