What kind of flat iron are you using?

I got a cheap imitation kind of CHI at the mall and paid 200 dollars for it (i know, stupid!) but it never curls my hair no matter how many times i try! i ended up damging my hair..

are you referring to the cortex flat iron? because those are usually sold at mall kiosks and are at least $150. They are made by CHI & are not cheap or poor quality. They are very good actually. She is using a pink cortex in this vid. You can also find authentic cortex flat irons in TJMaxx as well. I got my zebra limited edition cortex for $29 :) its awesome
