My Church in huntsville, AL has a Latin Mass every Sunday. It is very beautiful and I am so happy to have found it- the "new" Mass seems very flippant to me and I love being able to wear my traditional headcovering withouyt feeling like a throw back. So yes, there still Extraordinary Masses in the USA.
I will start by saying I am an atheist. Having said that, listening to Catholic chants makes me WANT to believe. I have always wanted to hear a Latin Mass, but want to reserve the experience to a real cathedral. Listening to this live at Notre Dame has to be one of the all-time great experiences in anybody's life. I regularly listen to early sacred Christian chants, as I find it to be one of the most deep, beautiful, and relaxing things I can do.
Notre Dame de Paris is probably the most beautiful place in the world. It's impossible to spend enough time there, enjoying the atmosphere and just the indescribably beauty of the whole thing. It's like entering a different dimension. There's no place in the world that makes me feel quite the same. I adore it.
The beauty of the Benedictine Monks Chants is enefable! I would go, almost every Friday, at noon, to listen to them, at WestMinster Abbey, in Mission, British Columbia.

@sartanko just believe in God have faith on him and you will achieve the everlasting life........ but if there is no true God at least you became a better person on this world and at least you will have a good tribute on this world....... But if there is a true God your lucky you will be in the kingdom of God and have an everlasting life... get it.,....

I tell you my fellow Christians, that all the sins in this world is accountable to the churches, for if they only unite and upheld free giving instead of buying and selling, there could be no robber and thieves among them, nor is there a chance for athiestic view to rise. Such a beautiful place. However, i have a hard time taking this beautiful music in considering Notre Dame is control by liberals that lost touch with Notre Dame's values....and why? because they wanted to shake Obama's hand and a photo op.
Thanks, holy cow, one would think buddacafe would know the difference between the real Notre Dame and the U.S. university! But he does have a point, too bad a place that started off as a great Catholic College has been compromised by left-o dipsticks and Obama sucker-uppers!
@ChiquillaD I've been there as a tourist, but never for the liturgy. If they celebrate the liturgy in a style befitting the architectural setting, it would be a truly amazing experience!

This is Notre-Dame de Paris, not the university.
Also, this isn't Gregorian Chant, but it is organum which developed from the Notre Dame school.
