In most of Tarja's songs she sounds too much like opera and less metal and to those that think that Nightwish has gone Mainstream, take a look at Nickleback or Disturbed, or hell, even Metallica, now THAT is mainstream. Just because Annete isn't Tarja, that automatically makes Nightwish Mainstream?! I think not.

Stupid comments about "old" nightwish. When sami left the band changed their style too and the change was bigger than the change to anette and I heard nobody whine about that because its only good when the new one overshadows the old or something? Another thing if you only like nightwish for tarja you where never a fan of nightwish. If you only love tarja listen to tarja, if you only love marco listen to tarot. Nightwish was and is a whole because of all these people not just because of one.

@bayernfan1986 Tarja was awesome in Nightwish.Annette is great in her own way.They have their own style.But also,in many ways,I find that Tarja not being in Nightwish no more,ended up being a good move for her solo career.Remember seeing the interview after she was "released" from the band,alot of tears,but I believe she is very happy now.

All in all,Nightwish is still awesome,Tarja is awesome.Yay!
