Great work. Nice tone and touch. Only thing I would add/say is it might be better to consider the solo as G dorian since it is outlining a Gm7. You're right, he adds a few tasty passing tones. I love the FM7 arpeggio going from bar six to 7.

lol after serious playing for a few weeks it does sorta feel like you slicing your fingers but then you develop calluses( not sure about spelling) after that it doesnt really hurt just might if you stop playing for a bi then get crazily back into it

hey what scale is tht on, im trying to learn the majors and tht looks like it is, what key and scale is it? i learn the scales by playing the songs, i get the general shape then when i play it in a song it gets memorized, thnx.

Well technically F Major as there's only one flat(Bb), plus a couple accidentals. But as a lead guitar solo, you should view it as the G Pentatonic Minor.. G,Bb,C,D,F or Pentatonic Blues (add C#). He also emphasizes the F,A,C from F major at times, and adds the accidentals B and C# alot, as in the scale G,Bb,B,C,C#,D.

o...see my prob is i know the one most commen pentatonic but not the others or the maj scales and modes. i practice the shapes but quickly forget them, what works is doing the shape, having it in front of me while i play the solo on tht scale, soooo, do you know of any good songs using the maj or other pentatonic shapes? we seem to have a similr taste in music, i dont like anything tooo heavy. but thnx in advance. :)
