According to the Red Cross, there are 400 million people living in land sown with bombs.

Brazil is one of the countries that produce, store and export cluster bombs to countries like

Iran and Saudit Arabia.

In December 2008, Norway, 94 countries signed a treaty to ban this type of weapon,

but Brazil attended the convention as an observer only,however there is still time:

next Wednesday , 18/03/09,new event for this purpose will be held at the

ONU,in New York.
