The only thing I really gained from it is learning how many things about relationships are overrated and how they have the potential to ruin you.

@SKThibault Oh, you can cut your girlfriend. She just won't like it and then the police tend to show up with guns drawn and you might end up with a bullet hole or two. You CAN do it, it's just not a very good idea.
@leexlma As far as I can tell from doing some searches, he never didn't have long hair so that's really a given. What are you basing your information on?
@MGlBlaze i dont know wether he did or he didnt because alot of people say he did have long hair but the statues at the wallace monument have shorter hair but not completley short i guess we will never know :)

Yes they are all functional and if one get too blunt I just go round my uncles house and he sharpens them for me, he does stuff like sharpening swords and other cutting tools for a living so I have to pay him but he gives me a discount and unless I start cutting thick wood or something similar they don't need sharpening much, just look after them and they styt in good condition.
@Steelzmeister My family (6 including me), mostly. What they origonally contain is consumed and I just fill them with water and collect them together for the occasional cutting session. It takes a little over a week to get a decent amount each time, give or take.
As for the tripod, sort of. I used my baby brother's slide (the steps at least) as a stand. It seems to work pretty well.
I'm interested in swords aswell... Although I'm manily interested in one handed long swords or twin short swords (I found a pair that look really nice, a kind of gold plating on the hand guard)... Although I can only buy them when on holiday as there are no really good quality ones sold here but I've got some nice ones, twin blades are really fun but don't go for twin long swords unless you really have a lot of strength and control... Don't wanna lose a hand...
