  • looks annoying

  • Hey, how do you make windows extend the desktop up or down? i can only make it extend the desktop either side

  • Hey, can you do multi screen on laptops as well, latest ones of 2010 I mean with i7 and VGA ATI 5730 for example?!

  • haha what super computer more like peice of shit

  • this is so good to play poker

  • it looks cool but your pc runs slower

  • how??

  • can i watch porn on that?

  • @farzblack people, shut up about porn you pervs!!

  • @LHunterO78 u really don`t want share sex movie with us...

  • how do you maximise window to all monitors?

  • It's really awesome but so much screen makes your computer slower, so I think it's not really a "supercomputer" but a super screen. Btw, where is the computer...?

  • is this windows 7 compatible?

and in which case would the aero snap apply to every monitor boundary or would it fill all four?

  • Is there any way to use tv monitors instead? or use larger pc monitors?

  • uhhh.... no comment.

  • how did you open google earth to all 4 monitors?

  • how the hell did you do that if you see this comment please respond and tell me how

  • this is how u lose stuff on your desktop xD

  • dual monitors ftw. you dont need 4

  • awesome.. gonna need one of these wheni begin trading..!!

  • I have a similar setup, but I also have my 46 inch TV on another output for movies...

  • you computer is super slowwwwwwwwwww

  • @Multi350z Considering he doesn't have a good GPU, he is running XP a 10 year old OS right now and it is probably 1 GPU with 4 monitors it will definitely lag. Also with a GPU and CPU intensive program such as Google Earth that probably doesn't help either.

  • this sux those lines in the middle of my programs would drive me NUTS xD

  • wooooow good :D

  • You would olny need this if you were gonna eit avatar

  • This would be awsoeme for Gaming!! soz my spelling aint good!!

  • Incredible display! I noticed The Elegant Universe playing in the top left monitor. Nova's a great program.

  • you only have 2 eyes....or do you have 4? heheh

  • che skifo fai prima a prendere un schrmo da 40 polici scusa tanto ma si vede megli anche

  • I'd just want one big moniter. Since the middle part would get in the way when your trying to play shooting games... rofl.

  • quite impresive but 2 side by side would look alot better man

  • Yuk

  • just haveing 4 monitors donst make a super omputer nany pc can handle upto like 8 monitors with ease now haveing a card able to run a 3,000,000x2,500,000 resolution monitor would be super as the proccesor power and graphics power to manage all of that would be so extensive you may just possibly need a hol desktop pc stuffed full with proccesors. not even the i7 can controll that.

  • Macintosh has been doing this for years. Is there something i'm missing here?

  • if you buy 22'' triples from super pc it will cost you 1400 dollars but wtf is the point when you can get like 24'' full hd screens for 200dollars each? :D

  • Can you please tell me how can i use two monitors ( i have them set up already) but i want to use them or different work like for xample one i will have the calendar open, and on the other one i can wok surf the internet .thank you

  • NICE! I love that the DVD you demo in the top left monitor is Brian Greene's The Elegant Universe.

  • this is one expensive ass route... might as well purchase a 40'' lcd

    those monitors 150x4 = 600 + 2x x= video cards

    whereas 1 40'' monitor = 500

  • 1 large lcd monitor is still only really usefull for looking at one program. I use 3 monitors on my system and I would never give them up for one large one, because I often need to have multiple programs all up and running at once. Not to mention you can then run differnt color profiles on each monitor, which is invaluable when doing photography or any sort of video compositing.

However, if all you do is play games on it, then multiple monitors is a waste... go for the big one.

  • There are programs that setup quadrants in the "large monitor".... what's the point of pixelating any single program across a 42'' screen? Makes no sense unless it's some form of media

  • I do a ton of software architecture and I regularly have 10 or more applications open at once. It's great to have multiple monitors so I can have my IDE open on one side, testing scripts on a vertical-oriented monitor in the middle, and say.. my test server on the other side.

Multiple monitors isn't for everyone, but for those of us with a real need, it's invaluable.

  • easy to do but money needed fore videocards and screens:S

  • wat is the point for the mony get a biger scren i got a 32inch lg 299 so much easear

  • Then you can only have 1 window open at a time.

  • Im viewing this video on two monitors.

  • Does anyone know if there is some sort of adapter that allows you to have 2 or more computers connected to one screen, so you can switch between the two?

  • u could use a kvm switch or look on the bacl of your monitor for different ports and connect a computer to each

  • most monitors have vga and dvi ports on the back

use one from each computer then use the source button to flip between the two. i do this all the time, i have 3 monitors. 2 19"s and 1 32"

  • nice

  • My mom's laptop could do this, or... Well - Probaly with a triplehead to go and if you count the included one.. This isnt hard, let's see you play Crysis with the same Computer (same resulution ofc xD)

  • Easy there kid, its called 2 GTX295s and a laptop need to have a GPU that supports 2 monitors, this guy is running crossfire or SLI to get 4 monitors on a very powerful CPU.

  • SLI doesn't support multi-displays, only Crossfire.

  • Let's spell that before the CPU

    P O W E R F U L, Powerful, a word this computer doesn't have. You don't need a good computer for this...

  • I meant GPU typo, and yes you only need dual GPUs.

  • specs?

  • Its to much money for those 6 screens OMG more than an house lol

  • The reason it's better than one big screen is the resolution. sure you can get a single massive screen, but to get one above 1920x1080 (1080P or i) is REALLY REALLY expensive. so using a single monitor would look like shit. I use 6 screens on my system at a total resolution of 3840x2048. and it didn't cost much. The point is to look at a lot of stuff at once, not one very big image. ...once you go multi-head, you never go back.

  • this is retarded, why don't you just buy a 50" plasma?

    LOL @ video

  • your dumb

  • it's 'you're' retard not 'your'

  • omg buy a beamer

  • Um, can you just buy one huge monitor?

  • each screen can act independently

  • oooohhh so special

  • you can't really multitask with that if your viewing fullscreen

  • agreed. While this may function OK with seperate programs, it's trash when you want it just to be one big one. HAving one large monitor is far better, but of course it's expensive...

  • at my school we have dual monitors in my architecture class

  • Congratulations. Want a cupcake?

  • Is ATI Eye Infinity No ? Becouse Rullz

  • that is one amazing setup

  • yo what happend to da view

  • How would you play a video and have it display to all four of the monitors, like one big screen? And also how would you just hav a video and play it on just one of the monitor?

  • @tomjonhson1987 Well, multiscreening isnt only for videos. ITs good for photshopping, video-EDITITING, multi-gaming, or using the whole screen to whatever u want. Myself i use one screen for gaming and another for my music or facebook.

  • @MrTomjej Macs are good for video editing. Multiple screens just allow you to make your image larger...

  • now all you need is screens with no edges or frames =)

  • Community:

I need some feedback as to a great computer just for stock trading.

What specs are good for such, without the distraction of a 3d video card that can rob a trader of necessary resources? How about Vista OS 64 bit with 6gb ram? Some computer builders say that Vista is not as stable as XPP and 64 bit OS maybe incompatible with some applications.

    Thank you.

  • remins me of Spaces on Macs

    nice set up!

  • vhy just dont buy a big tv lol

  • 4x the res with 4x monitors.

  • Great reply, we were just about to say the same thing. Big screens are always better for watching video and movies, but most people don't use multiple monitors for full screen video. It's more useful for multi-tasking and high-resolution editing and things of that sort.

  • becuase we break the maxtrix

  • bonito pc!!!!!!cutreee lo hay del siglo 21?xd menuda gilipollez!

  • how did you set up 4 monitors ?

  • why only 4 screens ?

  • so he can show off the world that he can afford 4 monitors.

  • I do this with my MacBook Aluminium and my 32' LG TV in my basement.

  • yah macs pwn

  • you need to cut off the silver frames so there's no barriers.

  • if its a super pc, play some crysis on ultra setting.

  • I like this setup =)

  • i have that screen :p but only 1

  • lol can u just use a big plasma tv is tht possible?

  • One big plasma TV will have less than 1/4th the resolution. It will not be as crisp of a picture.

  • you can but its more fun to do it this way :D

  • O___O you have to be rich i can't afford a thing like this ahaha anyways nice video :D

  • damn, tat looks awesome, u probally wasted around 800-700$ on the montiers

  • how do i set up this system what do I have to buy for my pc ?? thank you

  • it could be better to have a big one like 42 inch and open a lot of windows in one screen

  • Except that this has 3x4 times the resolution as an HDTV. I agree that a large screen would be better for video and movies though. Not for multi-tasking and hi-resolution beyond HD.

  • hey its hard to play games bro

  • @SuperPCMart

Regardless of how big the resolution is a 40" monitor would give 1920X1080 resolution, and multi tasking is the same except there are no guide marks, in this case you use your monitors borders as them. Software is meant to help you with multi-tasking not hardware, although I think that having 2 monitors is a must. Just my 2 cents.

  • this has WAY higher res though. a huge HDTV is just blowing it up larger, this actually multiplies the resolution, and it looks cool.

  • how do u setup duel mintors so that when u play a full resolution game it only sits in 1 window

  • NVM.. i got how to do it

    thanks

  • how do u make it so that when u maximize it, it fits only on one screen?

  • It just does that automatically when you maximize it. It goes to the screen that most of the window resides in.

  • Weird... cuz mine just maximizes to both of my screens...

  • You probably have it in Span mode instead of individual screens.

  • ohhh thank u

do u know how to make individual screens?

  • sometimes it will also allow you to change the layout so you can have say 4 in a line, 2x2, or customise. And as SpcMart said you can use the windows individually unlike a simple large monitor

  • no big tv no gerk

  • That's a whole different concept. The resolution of this setup is four times a large Monitor or HDTV. This is designed more for the individual use of each monitor, but with properties where the windows can be interactive with other wondows, such as Copy and Paste function.

  • That would be too confusing.

  • can u see a movie in the whole four monitors?

  • yes, but not always

  • Usefull

  • Very nice!!!

  • that would be great for day trading

    ,

  • EEh cool! the video on the top screen on the left side is called "was einstein nicht wusste" in german! Awesome docu about the string theory! :D

i really like that sort of documentations :)

  • nice display pimp

  • that would look much better with vista......but whatever, it still looks killer!!!

  • Absolutely! You can use a device like the eVGA UVPlus adapters to drive a quad-monitor setup from your laptop all over USB!
