Ha, I just spent a month in Amman. This is the least of the driving craziness. It's mostly crazy because Amman is soooooo overpopulated. The parking for stores are right ON major streets, so bottlenecks cascade throughout the whole right lane. Nobody drives in their lane. They are building all kinds of new stuff left and right. I don't know how they'll keep up. Parking decks are DEFINATELY a good idea.
