im FINALLY upgrading from music 2000 (mtv music generator) is this anything like that? can you still create your own melodies with that sequencer that looks like a keyboard with lists of sounds to choose from?

MTV Music Generator 3 has a similar sequencer to the the first music generator but not as deep. This version of Music Generator is more designed for remixing so its a lot more limited as far as the samples you can use in the Beatbox and melody sequencer. The sequencers are mostly there to allow you create your own original beat and melody riffs to accompany your remixes, not to create a whole original song with. So you would be better off with Music 2002: Club Edition for PC, If you can find it

Thanks :) One way to get your tracks from this game onto here is to use a capture card. If you do a youtube search for capture card, there are a lot of easy tutorials on how to do it.

I don't use the normal capture cards for mine because it crashes my PC. I use a pinnacle video transfer capture card, which is really easy to use and you don't need a computer to record with it.
