It's not a debate when you're talking about statistics.
There is almost no theft in Japan as compared to the U.S. Now you can "debate" that all you want but it won't change anything. For example, there were (approximately) 60K automobile thefts in Japan as compared to 1.2 million in the U.S.
After correcting for population differences, that makes auto theft 6.5 times more likely to occur in the U.S. than Japan.

The somewhat 'hidden' mother of a victim, interviewed on ABC TV this week, appears to me to be black. Sandusky will very likely be convicted on multiple counts in which case he's going away for the rest of his life. It's how Penn State and Second Mile Foundation handled what they knew -- that's what has still to be sorted through, and then punishments meted out.

"Victim 4 remembers Sandusky being emotionally upset after having a meeting with Joe Paterno in which Paterno told Sandusky he would not be the next head coach at Penn State and
which preceded Sandusky's retirement. Sandusky told Victim 4 not to tell anyone about the meeting. That meeting occurred in May, l999."
After being accused of child rape in 1998 Paterno made Sandusky retire in 1999. Sandusky was only 55.
