What I really love about Andrew is his ability to not only capture emotion through the words of his songs, but also through the way he conveys them with his voice, and this song is the absolute perfect example of that to me. The way his voice almost seems to falter, as if he is feeling weak.. I don't know how to explain it, I guess, but it's just so tender, he has an amazing way of pulling at your heartstrings that way.

As someone who had Leukemia, who was diagnosed close to the same age as he was, this song resonates for me during a time that was complete hell. I was given their cd and I would listen to this song and completely relate to every word, every note, played and sung. I got my marrow transplant in May and thus far have been in complete remission. I am one of the lucky ones....and so is he. A lot of kids didn't make it. Without the music in my headphones...I might not have.
