I know you are a well-known Youtuber and shooter BigDaddy, and not trying to be impolite but just a tiny suggestion. Instead of standing almost completely sideways to the target, if you move your body and stood facing the target, bending your knees and leaning slightly forward, you will be able to handle that recoil much better.

Ha, wow I do feel stupid now. I guess I was just so focused on it being a stock. When bigdaddy was talking about full auto and single shot and even putting emphasis on the action around the trigger, I didnt put it together. I was assuming the Saiga was already full auto and the stock was just some sort of buffer which made me wonder why bigdaddy was still getting pushed baxk by the recoil. Thanks.

@Bigdaddyhoffman1911 Call me stupid but what is the purpose of this stock? I went on their website and only found info as to what weapons it will fit. It looks cool and all but I just dont get it. To me it just seems like having airbag suspension under the seat of a commercial vehicle, every bump makes me slam down on the gas/brake. Great video though and in the words of John Connor (Terminator 2), "its deffinatley you."

i understand, but it still makes a normal semi auto rifle a fully automatic, and it does it extremely easily. the federal ban on assault weapons was to prevent fully automatic weapons from becoming easily available. i feel the ATF will only see the fully auto part without really caring how it's achieved. you can't really make bump firing w/o this stock illegal since you can't ban hands.

based on what i've read, the letter was issued based on an early prototype for this product that didn't work well at all, later tests done on the consumer versions worked much better and were not submitted to the ATF. so while it's technically still covered i see easy grounds for rescinding that letter. the fact that it's so good at what it does is what makes me iffy on it staying legal.

That thing is pretty nasty. It does look like it needs a little smoothing on the selector to keep it from chewing up your thumb on your trigger hand. It does look like you need to move the Saiga trigger group forward to the standard AK configuration to use the stock, but that's no real big thing. Nice thing about it is that those Saigas come in a variety of calibers. I would really love to see it on the .308 variant. Now that would be nasty with sprinkles on top. :-)
