iowa had some lower riffs and a few nice solos but in my opinion the self titled album in 99 was their best work by far. it is just my opinion, and in no way do i mean to bash the iowa album. they are a great band, and have entertained us for 13 years now in a big way. a big fuckin thank you to the guys for all they have done for us as fans. just hope that as fans we learn to accept peoples opinion and realize that they have a right to have one. it's good enough for me that they like slipknot.

Their self titled was much heavier than All Hope. It was good because it was different. while people like you might be happy listening to the same "Opening riff, verse, chorus, solo" with all the regular metal cliche's of a drummer doing 8th and 16th note triplets the whole time on bass, and a solo just being a guitarist doing scales over and over again, the original album was good because it was different and artistic and random. It felt like it was the diary of serial killer.
