Have to agree with Katandann. I was born in '96 and I adore the classic disney movies like Beauty and the Beast. It's sad that movies like this aren't made more often. It seems like people keep regurgitating the same old stuff, that nobody liked the first eight times it came out, into their movie.

I was born in '97, so you can see I didn't really grow up in the 90's. It doesn't matter, you don't have to be older to agree that "Shake it Up" is gag-worthy and a far cry from the good stuff. I don't think it's empowering to dress like a hoe-bag (frankly put) and sing like a dying cat. (I'm talking about Hannah Montana and the rest.)
I love the beginning instrumental opening of this song. It sounds like a Christmas song and it just makes me smile!!!!
