Never worked? Roaring 20's didn't work when GDP growth was 7%/yr? Gilded Age didn't exist when per capita income increased 200% in 40 years? Reaganomics didn't work with 96 consecutive months of GDP growth and 15 MILLION jobs created? The 1919 Forgotten Depression: taxes cut 60%, govt spending cut 50%, and unemployment fell from 16% to 5% in 18 months didn't happen? Carter and FDR had booming economies? @ 0:43 Obama, as with all Liberals, shows that he does not understand how "Trickle-down" economy functions. For it not to work, you would have to say that "The Rich" get their wealth and then stash it away in an old sack. They raise their own food, build their own house, construct their own vehicles and appliances, maintain all this by themselves, home-school their children... Let me guess, the New Deal and other FDR programs got us out of the Great Depression. Of course the necessity of America building up a military-industrial complex to supply the troops during World War II had nothing to do with it. Or the fact that returning soldiers had acquired some new marketable skills or got a better education to get them under the G.I. bill. Obama should know what doesn't work, as he has never worked.

So they created a society based on good education, aversion to dogma, the right to keep the fruits of your labor, and ·maximum liberty· (limited government/free markets).

Within years we went from harsh poverty, to the richest, freest society in history. Scientific advancement boomed.

This is still mankind's greatest achievement.
