Part 1: I never supported Ted Kennedy politically. I am on the opposite side of the spectrum from him and most of the things he stood for. I thought the last four days was really meant for those who wanted to respond to the great possibilities that the Kennedy's felt passionately about and fought for. I have read a lot of the posts that were left by those who felt very strongly about the failings, or equally put "crimes" that Ted committed.
This is a great speech. Ted Kennedy was a great senator and hopefully Ted Jr. will pick up the torch that his father carried. It's so important to help those less fortunate and most especially children in need.

Part 1: I never supported Ted Kennedy politically. I am on the opposite side of the spectrum from him and most of the things he stood for. I thought the last four days was really meant for those who wanted to respond to the great possibilities that the Kennedy's felt passionately about and fought for. I have read a lot of the posts that were left by those who felt very strongly about the failings, or equally put "crimes" that Ted committed.

Watching Sen. Kennedy being eulogized, I had tears streaming & a lump in my throat. He was loved by family, friends, right aisle & the American people. Hearing words of people who knew him made him one of us, the average person. God bless his family & let us all reach out & touch but one person to make a difference. Ted Kennedy was a decent public servant and worked very hard for his state, the American people, and he suffered a lot as a brother who lost two brothers. He was a kind man.
