i feel like this is wrong on so many levels. seems like they are going to view these people's society like its a damn zoo. they are just as cultured as us (americans) if not more so. I heard during world war 2 the japanense and even the allies used some uncontacted people as slave labour to make plane runways and such to help the war effort but im sure some remained uncontacted and only saw planes fly overhead or something. I also heard that americans dropped boxes of supplies from planes and a tribe worshipped it as a massive bird who dropped food from its bellies or something like that

Thanks once again for your kindly posting another episode in this BBC4 series. Really expands one's world view. Maybe that's why BBC makes so many excellent documentaries -- as a relief from claustrophobic British society? (Sorry for my amateur anthropologist's mini-theory :)
