  • Is Almond still up there :)

  • Doesn't the cat get bored up there?

  • Is the cat on the tree or the tree under the cat, that is the question.

  • I wish I had a tree cat too.

  • Heh. What a stubborn little cat.

  • @UnclePutte heh

  • What a kind man.

  • its a littlebit sad,but the cat looks happy :-)

  • why dont you take down the cat, it is boring to live in a tree whole life.

  • chop the tree down

  • I love cats and I adore this guy.

  • What a sweet man!

  • lol that is awsome :)

I taken pictures of cats in trees but not like this :D

  • Aw she looks just like my cat!!! Sooo cute :) what a precious story. So glad she has him to care for her -3

  • How sweet! Bless that kind mans heart.

  • Does anyone realise that the cat only stays up in the tree because he has been looking after her all her life! ALL animals will prefer to live in a place where they know that they will be looked after and/or have all the factors needed for survival (food, water, shelter). The cat has all it needs up there so it can see that it is easier for it to just stay up there.

  • Beautiful cat. Awesome old man.

  • she probably misses her mommy cat

  • Every time I see this cat, it has all the marks of a healthy and happy cat. It seems relaxed and content. I see no reason to remove the cat from the tree, it's got food, shelter, and a friend who CAN take the cat to the vet IF THE CAT NEEDS IT. Why is everybody so worked up about it? I mean there are a TON of worse situations that this cat could be in!

  • I've had many cats in my time, both indoor and outdoor (one year we had 27 because all four of our outdoor females had kittens at once...we got them spayed after that, put up a "free kittens" sign, and everything went fine). I've come to the conclusion that (just like MOST living things) cats are individuals. I can't tell you to what extent, but different cats like different things. This cat likes it's tree. So what? Let it sit in it's tree! It'll come down if it wants!

  • The cat is not a coala o whatever which prefers dreams to movements.

The cat has to be the cat and has to enjoy the life.

  • Dear Julieannec1969,

and did it ever occur to you that it is not very good for a cat to spend all the time on a tree?! That one moment it can't succumb all the fantasies of the weather, for example (he will not be able to run away, because it is stuck here)..

maybe mentally he's got problems, has got his fears (towards climbing down to the earth).. but some people do not realise he needs help.

  • @lusienda ThX 4 posting the same comment twice. U ask did it ever occur to me that it's not very good 4 the cat to spend all that time in a tree? Well, did it ever occur to u that u r a dumbass? There is a video attached to this 1 explaining why that cat remains in the tree by a 'animal specialist'. Also, that it's not my G.D. Cat., & that cats naturally climb trees, & fire dept.s 'rescuing' cats for trees is a ridiculas myth promoted by tv. And u think the cat has Mental problems? Ha, Rich!

  • @julieannec1969 - there must have been a reason the mother left if behind. there is probably something genetic that she could smell that you don't know.

  • @lusienda - I agree that the cat could very well have some "problems".

  • @lusienda It looks like it wants to be up there. So be it. Allow it.

  • Dear Julieannec1969,

  • WinterHaven, get off the internet already. I'm sure there's plenty of people and animals in your life you'll try to control who don't need you. Doesn't that keep you busy enough?

  • Wow! A lucky cat! She must be happy to have such a good friend.

  • give me that cat-food

  • =D this put a big smile on my face. ^.^ Good luck! Hope Almond has a long and healthy life <3

  • Almond is a rebel! Go Almond! That's your tree now and the view is fine.

  • That was kind of my point, that he was abandoned and doesn't know anything but that tree and may be afraid/unsure come down. I think he'd love to be taken down to experience a soft sofa, a warm lap with someone petting him, affection, etc. I'd at least give it a try and then see where Almond prefers to live. I think he's waiting for someone to rescue him.

  • If he never fed it would it come down to find food or stave to death?

  • Hello great story however be very careful feeding a cat any meat with spicing

its extremely gastric and cause their bellies to bloat and will need to be

brought to a vet to have an injection in their belly to releive the bloating.

It can cause death. Cats are not set up to eat bacon sauge, or pastrmi and

    that lot of food

  • The funny thing people don't realize is, ..if they take the cat down, bring it to the pound, adopt it out, it will just return home, or climb and sit in another tree. Why don't people get that? Is it wrong for a cat to want to be in a tree? It's what cats do! LOL Silly people! They try to fight everything, include natural instinct & the impossible.

  • If the cant didn't like it she would get down....

    Ok..

    This man is awesome!!!

  • Honestly, how could anyone not like this story? And if this lovely guy doesn't get HUGE amounts of female attention after this then I'll eat my hat.

  • My cat had her kittens in a tree, too. :]

  • obviously this cat wants to stay where it is, in the tree.

  • What a charming man he is! I love this story!

  • the cat looks the queen bee!! wjat a wonderful man , that man is:)

  • Some people will find anything to crab about. The cat is fed, and appears healthy and under the care of a kind individual. That's much more than many animals receive from human "kind". Give it a rest and be grateful there are people out there that care!

  • @ellabeanrocks Very well said. This should be like the number 1 comment here.

  • This guy is so great for helping the cat! May he have a long and healthy life with that cat!

  • yeah..um, I bet a troll like you thinks the cat should get a membership to a health club, you PC dork--unreal! I can tell you have never been in contact with a wild cat or barn cat before. I own a "rescued" barncat (was a baby) and it still behaves like a barn cat after 5 years in loving home.

--btw, i am responding to "hiphopJun"--

  • @aglaia17 You don't even know what a troll means. I wasn't trolling, I was just saying maybe the cat being scared to leave the tree is not a good sign? I have owned a cat before. Don't get so defensive, chill the fuck out.

  • Some of these posts reflect such ignorance in our society (but I am also guessing that those posts were from some young red-neck dolts). Anyway,it's obvious that the cat is content with Nature & Nature is content with her; and the cat is is under the most excellent care of ethical/ moral individuals. How can I say this?--I have known them all my life. Long-live TreeCat! *much applause*

  • @aglaia17 Staying in a tree all the time is not "content". The cat will not live very long without proper exercise and living in fear of the rest of the world, hiding in its "shell". It's great what this guy is doing, but he should also try to help it detach from the tree.

  • @HipHopJun Cat's can climb down trees when they want, & climb back up. Cats are nocturnal. No one ever said the cat never ever comes down..ever!...It's were the cat lives and prefers to stay. Why fight mother nature? It will do what it wants no matter where u take it, or who owns it. A cat acts like a cat.

  • @julieannec1969 How do you know the cat comes down? If all cats could climb down trees, then explain why firemen sometimes get called to save a cat stuck up in a tree.

  • So sweet.

  • He wants to see how long she stays there? She stayed there for 7 months, isn't that enough? Why can't he take her home instead of looking at how long she will stay there???

  • It's great by helping the cat with food and shelter. But he should encourage her by trying to coax her out of the tree little by little by placing the food away from the tree. He should have her spayed. But it's sad that the cat me be waiting for it's mother!

  • Just because they don't mention in the video doesn't mean he didn't take the cat down at an early age and get her spayed. He would most likely already have kittens if she wasn't spayed. Plus the fat distribution on her belly suggests that she is spayed. I'm more concerned about her diet. Just because they do it in cartoons does NOT mean you should give cats milk!!

  • Wow what a fuckin' ignorant American. People never cease to amaze me, where does the stupidity end?

  • @Gawronizm Dumb Pollack

  • Actually WinterHaven is right-the cat DOES need to be fixed, or he will end up with dozens, even hundreds, of cats in a short time.

  • Może kiedyś odleci...

  • why would anybody dislike this?? Baffles me!!

  • This story and the man's kindness melts my heart. =)

  • Shame on you all for calling this wonderful man names. He's letting the animal live in freedom but still providing it with food and care. How exactly is it cruel to leave an animal in its natural state? Cats can live without human interference. Taking it and locking it up in a pound and neutering is better for it how? The reason animals are spayed is to control the population not because it's better for the individual animal. Some of you clearly have never been out of a city.

  • the cat really loves him...I bet it comes down at night....It will be okay but companionship and a warm house he would like better...I believe he will follow the man to his home someday...The cat looks incredibly healthy and looks like a snowshoe cat in the tree....I hope it lives a long and healthy life....Cats are wonderful and don't hurt anyone......I love them..

  • Almond is afraid to leave his tree. God bless this man!

  • Seriously , the looks pretty happy :)

  • @Marusan111 yeah she's about to have a litter of kittens.

  • I doubt that cat is staying in the tree at night, it looks right age mate. Trap that cat and have it spayed or neutered. Get the shots it needs and find it a REAL home. Good Lord, it is not a bird in a nest for crying out loud!

  • @momkatmax i agree with the spayed or neutered part but not all cats are happy in a home. some want to life outside!

Why are we arrogant enough to think that the human home is the best for all cats. Feral cats for examble would never become happy in a humans home!

  • @CuteVidoll Oh right. I have three cats and they want NO PART of the outside where they can get shot at, hit by cars, or fucking assholes POISON THEM with antifreeze. Living outside is really honky dory for a cat. Get yourself FUCKED and get a brain.

  • @WinterHaven oh you are one of these people who think cats NEED humans, i see. Do tell mr catmaster i have 3 cats too! they hate outside! but i work with 2 cat organisations here in japan and learned that some cats WANT to be left alone by humans. What do you think why Trap Neuter Return exist you genius?! Brainless people shall not reccoment others to get a brain!

  • @CuteVidoll All three of my indoor cats were without humans before I adopted them and not only were they starving, they were covered with fleas and suffered worms which required treatment. Now all three are quite healthy and happy and want no part of the outside. My neighbor kept a small colony of cats and they all vanished, some of them were poisoned to death by unknown individuals.

  • @CuteVidoll You say "cats want to be left alone?" My cats want attention - and insist on it. You are full of it. And it was human intervention that got them vet care, their vaccinations, and spay/neutering. Cats are DOMESTIC and require human care.

  • @WinterHaven

    It does have human care.

  • I think people like this story because it's goes against comformity & having to go by laws & social pressures that tell us how to live. Shouldn't an animal have the freedom to live like the animal it's intended to be? Yes, it would be better for the animal to have to put to the pound, or fixed, or 'rescued'. but R we really saving the cat? Doesn't an animal have rights to it's own freedoms?..it really isn't hurting anyone or imposing. Man asserts so much. Maybe 2 much. Long live treecat!

  • @julieannec1969 Yeah I seen about 4 cats today on the highway with their freedom - they became ROAD KILL and their guts splattered all over the road.

  • @julieannec1969 I believe the word you were reaching for was Conformity.

  • @WinterHaven

he mentions that he can not take her down from the tree

and it is not cruel because the cat refuses to come out of the tree

and you are cruel for thinking about having her "destroyed" and this is HUMANE

  • @TheBelle9090 The cat is going to get fucking PREGNANT you dim wit. More fucking HOMELESS cats. God are you stupid. If you can't get the fucking cat fixed-impound it!

  • @WinterHaven

your fucking stupid he can not take the fucking cat out of the fucking tree because thats her home and she refuses to move!!

your the one who is imhumane about this if u were humane u would say "awww thats so cute"

but your not so nobody cares about your fuckin opinion

  • @WinterHaven ....he loves the cat and doesn't want to take it to the pound.....i am sure when the time is right he will get help from local shelters to get the cat fixed...It amazes me how someone thinks it is better to be dead ...then in a tree....

  • @ladyvictoria8 I agree, he'll take care of this cat. It is likely leaving at night, so I'd like to think it won't get pregnant or if it's a male - won't get into a bloody fight and contract FIV. At this point, let's hope for the best, because the cat is obviously trusting him, is healthy, and safe. Yeah to any man who not only loves animals, but loves a cat!

  • @onekinkstar If that cat were around my neighborhood I'd trap it and take it to the dog pound. Eventually puss will come down and want to mate. It's far better off destroyed than allowed to have kittens.

  • @WinterHaven Alright, ALRIGHT! Get the cat 'fixed' and then put it back in the tree!

Now step away from the computer . . . PLEASE.

  • @WinterHaven oh of course :) and i'm going to find you and kill you so you won't ever have babies because you know, we really don't need more fucking idiots like you around

  • @WinterHaven - > winterhaven is obviously just a troll looking for attention -.- you know people like them have no life so please just ignore them.

  • @ladyvictoria8 Fucking cat can get pregnant in just six months. This cat is about a year old. At least. Probably had kittens. God are you one stupid idiot. Either get the fucking cat FIXED or IMPOUND IT.

  • STOOP CAT'S AFRAID TO LEAVE HIS STOOP!!!!!!

  • When he gets horny he'll come down...

  • Wait uh... where does the cat go to the bathroom?

  • @GoatZilla Good question. You know you already know the answer, though. There's got to be piles around that tree. That's got to be one of the healthiest trees around! LOL It's full of nitrogen now!

  • I care for woodland feral cats, and have found that many cats in the woods live in hallow trees. I added two feet of straw inside of the hallow tree and then like you I covered the top of the tree, allowing an opening for cats to get in and out. If you have not added the straw to the inside, you should as it will keep the cat warm.

  • Glad to hear that there is someone helping to take care of that cat.

  • what a nice man, i love cats too

  • Who does that cat think he is?

  • @ZeranZeran He's Tarzan-cat!

  • did ya ever consider setting the food on the ground? maybe the cat would come down

  • He puts a ladder there, and the cat doesn't come down?...

Well this is some fucked up shit right here.

  • w polsce 'mlodziez' wziela by go obrzucala sniezkami i zamartretowaliby go -.-'

  • 5 people want tree cats

  • What good guy! Well done sir.

  • -- (1(CollinCreatedParlayLoyaltoCollin--)1)

  • why doesn't he take the cat down and make it his pet ...........

  • @Full0u7

because then he wouldnt be famous on youtube

  • @Full0u7 Maybe he's waiting for someone to poison it with antifreeze..that happens a lot with outdoor cats.

  • It only appears that the cat never leaves the tree - in actuality, it moves so fast, it's like a phantasm, and neither the human eye or camera can track its movements.

    Think about it.

  • Uh has anyone ever tried helping the cat down out of the tree

  • @l0vem3orh8m3 NO! why should they, then it wouldn't be a cat in a tree >:(

  • @spiritkurama oh really! how many of those that are homeless had the choice?? do you really know (no you don't) - you totaly think you know everyones situation and paint everyone with a broad brush to ratiionlize your petty view. And yes the cat has a choice too. Dont feed it for week and it would come out of that tree in no time.

So you hate "people like me" who think that humans are at the top of everything? well thats about 98% of the population you hate then. So i know where you rank

  • lonely cat. i wud just force da cat get down n find another cat to be mate with it

  • why doesn't the idiot give it catfood instead of salami and meatloaf

  • J'y crois pas une seconde.

  • So there is cat crap all over the tree ?

  • Nice guy. If I were him, I would try to take her down because she can't truly be happy up there. I think she's just waiting for a helping hand down. Time to bring her inside...

  • @Cryocide13 true but some animals will not leave their comfort zone, and if that cat lost it's mom that early, it means that the tree is all it knows

  • Some men like football, some like vaginas, this man likes petting a pussy on a ladder.

  • Cute!

  • yeah wisconsin!

  • Fuck cats.. I love dogs.

  • @prophysee - you are a fool if thats what you thought i meant - i did say HELPING not giving hand outs - it seems people put more honour on those who help animals as opposed to people

  • @drafter48 because people have more choice, i'd kill a human over a animal any day.

  • That's a girl cat, BTW, not a male.

  • @genesisSOC dam you got some good eyes pervert

  • @fosho415 No. The title says "his tree," while the owner says "her tree."

  • @fosho415 Funny! ..lol...

  • instead of ensuring this cat stays up in the tree and stay totally relient on him this knucklehead should be out helping the homeless PEOPLE in his city

  • @drafter48 you're right, it's much better to keep PEOPLE dependent on others. Who wants to risk them going out and taking care of themselves!

  • @drafter48 homeless people made that choice this kitty had no choice, i hate people like you who think Humans are the top and everything else comes second.

  • i would of kill that cat

  • stoop kids afraid to leave his stoop?

  • The cat will never leave the tree as long and that dood keeps bringing him food everyday.

  • thats sad. i think the cat is waiting for its mother to come back.

  • @DrunkenSamurai18 no i doubt it, i think because wen it was a kitten it couldn't get down, and now that its older it's to afraid of going down..... pretty sad that too

  • just grab it. jeez.

  • ummm.. Hes just positively enforcing the cat to stay in the tree.. smh.

  • It's stuck

  • Stoop kid's afraid to leave his stoop? :)

  • Good bless this Man!

  • That's a cute kitty.

  • I think that the cat can't go down because it is too high for him to jump

  • JOE MY GOD. my ears! they bleed with adorable Cat-in-Tree antics!

  • tree cat is watching you masturbate

  • @blingyruss : haha, right @ 0:25.

  • The world needs more people like this!

  • heroic, good on ya guy!

  • @rayne870 we would never put time and effort to help a homeless man tho

  • That guy is totally that cat's bitch xD

  • sill waiting for the TITTIE!

  • a day later, lightning struck the tree.

  • Wow! Cats usually like to chase birds or bugs, don't they? This might very well be the reincarnation of Bhudda or something!

  • @DaeOh Nah... it just camps... waiting for the birdies to come and then ambush them

  • I see a meme being born right now... tree cat...

  • Maybe the cat was like yea man awesome tree time and the man was like yeah cat totally and then they both were like you bring me good and you can touch my cathead man totally

  • Thats so cute at the end

  • Maybe the cat just wanted to get outta tha house ya know!

  • Tree Kitteh , proud member of neighborhood watch program.

  • that looks like fun i can't wait to retire...oh wait, what?

  • the world need more guys like him!!!

    god bless him!

  • Tree cat likes tree.

  • Sweet. Poor cat. Saw another great vid this morning, too. Ducky Loves Peacock. Great music. Not a cat, but you might like it anyway: /watch?v=-Jr_OMQYluA

  • Take it to your home redneck retard...

  • 0:18 and 0:34. He says multiple times the cat is a "she". In the title though it says she's a he!

  • What a nice man and what a beautiful cat.

As if it stays up there all winter, that cat is awesome!
