  • is womens boxing pretty much head-hunting? with them tittehz taking up the majority of the hitting area. or can you punch the hooters?

  • st john is terrible!

  • This is disgusting .

  • I THOUGHT THAT WAS LIL' WAYNE FOR A MINUTE

  • she wasnt herself

  • If you are a Butterbean. Christy Martin a Mia St. Jon or a Lalia Ali, KNOW your PLACE! You are a famous name/face! You are not a "talent." Just be happy you are where you are and don't buy your own hype! WHen anyone starts believeing their own BS, they are done!

  • st john is terrible

  • Rolanda own her !!

    She is the best

  • refs always stop women's fights so much sooner then the men's

  • wow... People are actually commenting on this video in a serious way. Does anyone really give a shit about women's boxing? This is just strange.

If women really want to be equal to men... let them join the men's division. Who gives a shit if some chick is the best fighter in "girls world"?

  • @freezazoid cunt

  • @gorillaz23456 : why am I a cunt.... it's not attractive seeing women fight, and it's not interesting because they're not the best in the sport. So what's the point. I don't agree with fighting, but in the sport of fighting it at least suits men... men are known to fight and battle throughout history. This is just boring.

  • @freezazoid ur still a cunt :)

  • @freezazoid -- 135 lb. men in boxing aren't "the best in the sport" either, in the sense that none of them could beat any half-way decent heavyweight, but we still like to watch good lightweight boxers fight, matched against each other. It's the same thing here, women vs. women. As for it not being "attractive," I have news for you, it isn't women's job to always look sexy to you, or me; let them do whatever they want.

Of course, nobody has to watch if they don't want to.

  • lmfao worst punching ever.

  • I'll confess: I only heard of Mia St. John from her "Playboy" layout. She used to be married to actor Kristoff St. John from "The Young & The Restless".

  • rolanda andrews is a pratt

  • Good for Rolanda. Mia is not as invincible as she thought she was

  • st. john has no jab at all... but a great ass!

  • Haha that man at 6.42 gets blanked

  • There's no room for hot women in this sport!!!! Except Gina Curano, she can stay. Giggity :P

  • mia st.john never could fight

  • The referee should have counted to ten after the knockdown. Mia S:t John was obviously dizzy during the whole count - she more or less leaned on the ref at the end, and she clearly was in no shape to defend herself afterwards. She had to take quite a few unnecessary punches to the head because the match wasn't stopped when she already really had lost it.

  • 7:12 thats how I want my women 2 b lol

  • why wasnt mia fighting like she normally fights in this fight..its like her punches are slower

  • She's not a boxer, she actually trains in tae kwan do (idk how to spell it). This was b4 MMA got famous, so she had no choice but to box

  • @JDezi4 tae kwon do,you are close enough!

  • I told Mia St. John she was the hederosexual male's version of Oscar De La Hoya.

  • Mia St, John is conceited. I loved warching her get her ass beat

  • so...shes still hotter

  • que putazo jejejeje!!

  • Mia's hot, but she's not strong enough to fight. Her handlers rarely dared put her in the ring with a girl her own size. In this fight she was 5'7" and 131lbs but was completely overpowered by 5'3", 126lbs Rolanda. Her legs completely unravelled under Rolanda's strength and she was as weak as a kitten by the time the ref stepped in. You had to feel sorry for her at the end, having her limitations so brutally exposed. She's a beautiful model, but defenceless as a fighter.

  • she took christy martin 10 rounds she must be able to fight, shes also kod an asian male boxer in a mixed bout i think shes better than people give her credit for

  • Does anyone have St. John vs Hollie Holm or Christy Marin?

  • Mia been exposed. Fact

  • Yes, we've seen the Playboy spread.

  • Mia looks kinda uncoordinated with those looping punches being pretty much the only things she threw

  • Mia has some nice big hooters. Shes hot!!!

  • Yeah she looked slow, unsteady and her left sidewinding sweep hooks looks really bad.

  • i love mia!!! mostly because shes hott!!! she got her ass beat in that fight, and she nevered reallt fought any real contenders, but shes so damnn hottt!!!!!!

  • my dad met mia in china.

  • Who won?

  • yeah, by decision

  • Max is a good commentator.

  • Good to hear that Rolanda Andrews is boxing again. Hope she does well.

  • Yeah Mia walked into that one. To bad she likely had the match won.

  • ann wolfe is the only female fighter to ever scare me, literally.

  • Right cross straight on the button, and Mia walked right onto it too. Never got her balance back from that.

  • has mia ever boxed against a ma,shes tough but i think id ko her it would be tough tho

  • Damn she sucks, swinging her arms wildly like a flopping fish out of water. All hype.

  • Hardly a "knockout" -- has Mia ever been laid out limp on the floor for several minutes?

  • yes she has

  • No she has not. Mia has been stopped twice in her career, this TKO with Andrews and a headbutt-stopping fight with Jessica Rokoczy.

  • Mia is hot! She's the best

  • Clearly not the best by getting KO'd.

  • Comment removed

  • Hahaah Mia got owned and she lost again last night to Brooke. She is overrated for sure!

  • You damn right well overrated. Don't know how the hell she got to be champ cos her tech aint that great.

  • Dierdorff headbutted and held and hit Mia throughout the fight, cut her with the headbutts. Referee was dumbfounded what to do. His actions are under offical review.

You clearly have a thing against Mia. 13 years in the ring and still going strong. She controls her own destiny. I recommend you talk out your problem with some prfressional help.

  • she is a sexy model for boxing mma she is crazy to try that. Its all about the money

  • Not really a KO more like a TKO

  • Sweet!! What an awesome upset this was. For the ages, indeed.

  • She can`t fight she was slow couldn`t land much St John.Like most women who shouldn`t box.

  • lol. it looked like the ref and st. john were doing the "wild thing" when he stopped the fight and her legs were all spread apart and her arm around him.

  • Yeah, I thought the same thing. When I saw it from another angle he was on top of her as she leaned on the ropes. Of course, Mia was out on her fee in La La land, and she had no idea what was happening. The Ref got him a nice quick ride.

  • what year was this fight? St. John looked very sluggish in this one.

  • The fight date was November 9, 2001

  • She had just left her promoter and went on her own starting with this fight. And I heard she didn't really train that well. It was her first defeat after 23 matches, winning one and drawing the other. Her "draw" was controversial as it appeared her opponent won.

  • Do you have the next fight

Mia St John vs Gina Greenwald? to put here...

  • NO, don't have that one.

  • That was her first lose but nobody expecting that end.

  • They call it Professional Fighting that means be prepared. Nia thought she had another easy one. Rolanda fought the real fighters in womens boxing with no big time promoters to pick half dead people. Rolanda had come close to win the world title against Sandra Yard who she put on the canvas in a close fight.

So any time Nia things she wants some get back Rolanda ain"t hard to find.

  • Well said!

  • This was a TKO, not a KO. The referee stopped the fight.

This fight was Mia's first after leaving Top Rank, her own promoter/manager.

Andrews is a left-hander which was new to Mia. And Mia didn't have the defensive skills she developed later in her career. Mia turned to top trainers after this fight.

Andrews has returned after 4 years and won against a 2-6 fighter. Her next fight is with a 1-3 fighter. Her record is 7-7.

    Mia's 45-9-1 with 2 titles.

    Mia's career flourished.

  • Last time I checked, when the ref has to come in and save your ass before you get yourself killed means you were all but laid out on the floor looking up at the lights. If the ref hadn't stopped it, she might not have had the great career that she had.

  • Rolanda Andrews lost 5 of 6 rounds to Kaleisha West on August 1st. Andrews took 4 years off and coming back at the age of 40 is too late in a boxer's career. Time to become a trainer.

  • Mia won a second WBC title on 12/20/08 defeating Darys Pardo (20-5 with 16 KOs). Mia's record is 46-9-1.

  • @Jamer123321 I know this post is 2 yrs old but I can't help it. The bottom line is that Andrews's record coming into this fight was 3-5. Mia fought against safe opponents throughout her career& when she stepped up in comp, she lost. Martin, Rakozcky, Holm...all losses. The difference isn't that Mia was a better fighter because of her inflated record. The difference was 1) She's attractive & 2) She had great mgmnt. She gets ko'd by Rakoscky in 2 & in her very next fight she "wins" a title?

  • @jperez9805 1) Her appearance is her appearance: 2) great management - yes, she was her own manager. KO'd by Rakoczy - the fight was stopped, BY MIA's CORNER, due to a cut by a Rakoczy headbutt (several headbutt stoppages in Rakocozy's record). The referee and ring MD screwed up - this was a technical draw by CA rules. Mia's title win was against Donna Biggers in China - watch it elsewhere on youtube.

Mia retired from boxing, wisely invested her winnings in companies and a foundation.

  • @Jamer123321 A lot of talk but very little substance. Listen, the obvious point is that Mia could have had 100 wins but the fact is that her wins were against C quality clubfighters. Trying to build her up as being a quality fighter/champ is a monumental waste of time. She's nowhere, abslolutely nowhere near a Lucia Rijker, Ann Wolfe or even DeShong. Her opponents compiled records before she got ko'd by the 3-5 Andrews was 38-49. She was a club fighter quality fighter herself. Sorry, buddy.

  • @Jamer123321 It's not a "technical draw" if the fighter or corner stops the fight, brother. That's called a "loss". No matter how hard you try to spin it, you CAN NOT change three important facts: 1) You were not the ring doctor, so you don't really know how serious the cut was. 2) St. John and her corner elected not to continue even though the fight was not stopped. 3) The headbutt was ruled accidental, despite what you wish to have us believe.

  • Representin' Atlanta! Anyways, I've heard of this fight for years, but I was never able to see this. Thanks!
