I'm a student at LU, hockey team players themselves are pretty cool guys usually. but when you get them on the ice, by far some of the most vicious fighters on ice.
@conservativeco Yea, Virginia Tech is only a club team while Liberty has a D-1 Team and and D-2 team. Virginia Tech plays them both and normally struggles with the D-1 team, but normally handles the D-2 team pretty well. Example, for the 2011-2012 season Virginia Tech played the D-2 team and won 5-2. Then played the D-1 team and lost 1-4. VT has a pretty good team and they are getting better every year. Liberty also has a pretty good team, there is no denying that.
Liberty University! lol i thought you were a Christian school what happened to love your enemies? guess this guy threw that one out the window...but anyways lol you guys are club hockey relax its a joke! go play wall ball outside of the rink lol
Although we don't have the title of NCAA we are still playing high caliber teams and doing well. you should check out the schedule before you cut us down with your lol's and strawman argument.
@f3nd13y Glad to know you wasted some of your life actually counting the punches. The fact is, the LU almost knocked him to the ground, but if you trip in a fight that is your dumb fault. So in hockey(and most fights for that matter) the guy who finishes on top, laying punches down into to the guy who is on his back, is the winner. Also, "but thanks for trying?" Good one champ
I thought players don't fight in university leagues

I remember going to 2 LU-VT hockey games. One time LU won 13-0 (!), the second time it was 15-1!
Stupid turkeys suck.
